Where is all this talk about trading for the 6th pick coming from? I searched the last few pages and didn't see anything.

It's because the Kings are reportedly shopping the #6 pick and Rockets fans are hoping T-Jones and the #18 pick(and possibly another throw-in or two) will be enough to entice Sactown.
lol they're crazy if they think a 18th pick & jones expiring contract will get us past number 15. Ariza & 18th wouldn't even get us a 6th pick in this draft. Cyberx thanks for the updates.
as far as the draft goes, isn't it to the rockets benefit that public uncertainty exists about whether llull will come over or not? wouldn't they want teams drafting ahead of them to be unsure if we need still need a PG or not?
I thought about creating a whole thread about this. The Rockets want as much confusion out there as possible: "We're keeping Beverley" "we're drafting Tyus" "we're signing Llull to the full MLE" "we're going under the cap to sign Llull to an amount higher than the MLE" "we're trading for Vasquez" "we're picking up a 2nd 1st to trade for Lawson" Morey himself said in a radio interview that you don't want anyone else to know what you're doing. Look at what Hinkie did to Orlando last year when he found out they wanted Peyton.....he drafted him two spots earlier and held Orlando hostage until they gave the 76ers their 2017 1st round pick back plus the rights to Saric.

He has opted out because he has leverage in getting a lot of $ from King. 15+. Ever since he got there Brolos game has elevated and they did well in the second half of the season.. No doubt that he has connections to people who do business with NBA teams. I also have no doubt that he also interjects personal opinion and doesn't make it clear that it's just opinion. The problem is that people tend to take everything as fact...even things that aren't legal under league rules and obviously couldn't have come from any credible source. Even #18, #25 (from trade w/Memphis), and TJones wouldn't get us near 6, but boy would it be awesome if it could. Here is hoping Sac hires KAAAAAAAHN before Thursday.
