I think we should just make a home version of the ketchup and mustard alternate jerseys. On a side note, I think the new jersey's will have the new "HR" logo on em.. or something to that degree..
Why not a modern version of these? Obviously got that 70s look but a modern twist of these would be dope!
Those or these Spoiler would be perfect. If we're going to talk about championships, we should be wearing the championship colors.
in my opinion, the Rockets 'R' is not a logo that can easily be inserted into a jersey/hat/t-shirt. it clashes and just makes my brain hurt looking at it. too many weird lines. we needsomething more symmetric like a round logo
going to keep ranting about this till we get a solution or answer does anyone know why we changed our number/lettering font? it used to be unique to the team and matched the 'ROCKETS', then we switched to the pacers font? makes no sense.. whyyyy rockets whyyyy
Let me just say this, if the Hornets can get an alternate uniform that says "Buzz City" (which I like), then the Rockets should be able to get an alternate that says "Clutch City."
With so many teams showing off there new uni's and new alternates, makes yo wonder when we are going to. New jersey cut, new Clutch City jersey, and a new alternate to come. Cant wait to see them.
They revealing the jerseys 9/15 just got this info below in a email. "Appearances by Dwight Howard, Donatas Motiejunas & Sam Dekker Live Reveal of Three New Rockets Jerseys 2015.16 Season Giveaways – Schedules, T-Shirts, Hats, etc. Performances by the Rockets Power Dancers, Launch Crew, Sonic Boom & Clutch"
The font changed has made the jersey a lot worse. Never realised it matched the Pacers' one. Hope Clutch City is like Buzz City, that one is dope.
This always bothered me too. I thought this was related to when the league switched to those adidas Revolution 30 jerseys in 2010? http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=lukas/100923_NBA_uniforms It forced some other teams to lose their unique numbering as well (the Grizz, for example, lost their "interior lining" in their numbers). No more bevel (Hawks), no more drop shadows, nothing. Just plain, solid numbers with maybe an outline if you're lucky. Instead of letting each team keep uniqueness, adidas pretty much made everyone bland with solid numbers. For whatever reason though, they didn't mess with team/city name fonts on the jerseys so not only are the numbers plain, they're mismatched I have no problems with simplicity, but at least make the little things match. I understand that the mesh material they used for the numbers makes it difficult to do anything else besides a solid color, but to me the trade-off for a jersey that is just a bit lighter wasn't worth it. Of course, the players who actually wear them probably don't care. Hopefully, Nike can fix these small issues when they take over in a few years.
