Definitely race related - here's the information from the site that the shooter posted. Someone backed it up before it went down: Homepage: https://i.imgur.com/C7ZaxV4.png Photos: https://imgur.com/a/3KL8m Text: http://pastebin.com/QkKjKxWm
Well if that is legitimate, and I have no reason to doubt its' authenticity, it fully confirms that his actions were, and should be viewed as a terrorist attack. Again though, not that it makes any real difference in how it should be handled....the little b*stard deserves to be put down.
LOL at Foxnews.com leading headline... "THE PURPORTEDLY RACIALLY MOTIVATED..." They had to include 'purportedly' as if it isn't well substantiated yet.
shhhh, does not fit narrative <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>The Confederate flag was raised in South Carolina by Gov. Fritz Hollings, who sat in the Democratic Senate caucus until 2005.</p>— Dan McLaughlin (@baseballcrank) <a href="https://twitter.com/baseballcrank/status/612432525374398464" data-datetime="2015-06-21T01:31:07+00:00">June 21, 2015</a></blockquote> <script src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
What narrative? The narrative that the Confederate flag is symbolism for bigotry and racism and should be removed from the state capitol building? OMG you absolute had 'gotcha' moment didn't you? "OMG it was a Democrat that allowed the flag to be raised".
The false implications of this post are mind boggling. Fritz Hollings had nothing to do with the confederate flag being raised over SC: http://www.infoplease.com/spot/confederate4.html That being said, the world was a different place at the time - I can't blame the legislatures of that era choosing to put the flag up. The issue isn't who put the flag up, it's why the flag is still up. What happened compounded with the culture that flag represents leads to some serious questions about some people's definition of southern pride.
The SOUTH is synonymous with slavery and racism. CONSERVATIVES are synonymous with slavery and racism. The Democratic party was Conservative and the Republican party was liberal. Lincoln was a Liberal Republican, that does not exist now. Lincoln would be a Democrat if he were president today. The switch happened just after the civil war and of course Lincolns death with Republicans aligning themselves with corporate interests.
Nah, back before the Civil War Democrats owned African slaves....Republicans ruined that for them so they settled for finding a way to own the votes of the descendants of those slaves. The Democratic party is the party of Slavery, first physical, now mental.
Actually, Southern conservatives are; they completely abandoned the Democratic party once they couldn't win segregated primaries.
"Nah" really "Nah"? Everything I said was historical fact and you reply to me with "Nah"? Last time I heard a response that bad Jeb Bush was getting owned by a 19 yr old. I think the phrase All noise, no substance pretty much sums up your posts in virtually every thread I've seen you participate in. One last tidbit I want you to understand. Conservatives have been around a lot longer than the Democratic Party in fact, I would say around 1600 we saw the first conservatives which happens to be around the same time American Slavery first started. Both started 230 years well before the Democratic party was even formed. So yes there was a time when conservative people were apart of the Democratic party but after the civil war those same people who fought and died to keep slavery became Republicans and have been so a lot longer than they were ever Democrats. "The Democratic party is the party of slavery" is something only someone who is grossly misinformed would say or something only someone who is trying their best to grossly misinform other people would say. Basically either you don't know your history or you are a troll or both.
It's good to see that you are completely indoctrinated. Keep voting for the donkey.....they really care, no seriously, they do!!! In some ways the mental slavery of the Democratic party today is crueler than the physical slavery of the Democratic party before the Civil War. I'd imagine most slaves knew that their masters weren't overly concerned with their well being, today however.... There's so many parts of the country where the Democratic party is in total power, and has been for decades.....funny those always seem to be the poorest parts of the country. What have they done for their people? When was the last time there was a non-Democrat mayor of Baltimore? The 60's? How about Detroit? How about St. Louis? Washington D.C.? Look, I'm in no way trying to advocate for the Republicans, that party is a disgrace as well, but the way the Democratic party has fooled the descendants of the slaves they once owned that they are the party that really care about them, while pursuing policy after policy that always seems to keep them impoverished is simply evil genius at it's finest/most horrible. Anyway, you don't have to agree or even understand. I was just pointing it out.
There is nothing to agree with or understand, what I said was historical fact and what you said was untrue. It will continue to be untrue whether I agreed with you are not. This isn't a debate I'm not taking sides, I'm just telling the truth. What you said was factually not true. Your whole response was pretty much irrelevant and only serves to prove my point that your posts are largely just noise without substance. In truth most of your posts are shamelessly ignorant and misinformed.
