How much time has he spent in CF? How does he look out there? I know his arm is weakish, but I dunno how weak, and he's definitely got the speed. I have nightmares of guys tagging up from 2nd to 3rd on fly balls to LF when Biggio was out there.
He's at 2B tonight. In Fresno, he has played 2 games at CF, starting 1, and also started a game in LF. His arm's probably unsuited for CF, but he just covers so much ground. I honestly couldn't tell you because I don't have MILB.tv, but looking solely at his fielding stats, Tony Kemp has been acceptable in the outfield so far.
Bryant-Jon Anteola is a sportswriter at the Fresno Bee. Although this may not be possible because Colby Rasmus is coming off the bereavement list tomorrow.

Grizzlies OF L.J. The New York-Penn League kicks off play tonight. Tri-City will open 2015 on the road with 3 in Connecticut and 3 in Brooklyn before hosting Staten Island on the 25th. The names that were on the preliminary roster (reposted) are now on MILB, with the addition of Ralph Garza, Kevin McCanna, David Schmidt, and Garrett Stubbs.

@JayneWTHB @NickCassone @itsDTrain Here is one for you all pic.twitter.com/U1Y7NQIOrL
— Rob Witt (@Robert__Witt) June 17, 2015

Francis Martes with another impressive start for Quad Cities. He's built a pretty strong case to be a top-10 prospect in the system right now.

#qctimes Now pitching for Quad-Cities, Aaron Greenwood. That would certainly make the Cosart deal have a different look. I admittedly didn't like the deal at the time, and still think Cosart will have a very good career....but if Martes ends up one of our top 10, will be hard to argue against what Luhnow got in that one for sure
I think he'll have a good career, but I'm largely over Cosart. In other news, Brett Phillips just whacked his 15th homer of the season for Lancaster.

One of our major July 2nd signings from last year, Miguelangel Sierra, with a solid start with the DSL Astros (Orange). .405 OBP and .921 OPS thus far and supposedly plays a really good SS.
The GCL roster has been updated on MILB. Kyle Tucker, Nestor Muriel, and Jorge Martinez are 3 members of the 2015 draft class on the roster. Daz will likely start off there, as well. Three position players from the DSL who could be worth keeping an eye on... Frankeny Fernandez: He was a 2B last season, but he's listed as an outfielder. Fernandez slashed .300/.407/.399 and went 35-41 on stolen base attempts between both DSL teams. Connor MacDonald hit .328/.442/.461 last year for the DSL Blue team before an injury cut his season short. I think he would've been in America last year had he been healthy. Vicente Sanchez is described by Ben Badler of Baseball America as having "a well-rounded skill set and a bat that could help him move quickly." He hit .281/.390/.479 with 5 homers and 30 RBI for the DSL Orange team last season.
