This makes me lose a lot of respect for Blatt. The guy is a p***y...no backbone. I suspect that many of the Cavs players don't respect him.

If he had any dignity and pride, he'd resign immediately.

Coaches like Popovich would never allow LeBron or anyone else to push them around.

I also think he's an overrated coach. He made dumb mistakes during the playoffs that your average college coach wouldn't have made.

Cavs win the series = Lebron is the hero. All hail LBJ and Yay for Cleveland.

Cavs lose the series = Stephan Curry is wonderful and perfect. Lebron is the Villian again. Dissing the coach.

No doubt, Lebron is the BEAST player in the world.

But I don't get all of this about Lebron Pimping out Blatt in the huddle.

If you want to be the coach, be the damn coach. If Lebron shakes his head at a play and YOU change it... that's on YOU.

I get that Lebron is THE best player on the court, but he is the PLAYER, you are the coach. If you WANT his respect, earn it.

If this happened in the finals it's been happening all year and Blatt just never manned up. I don't doubt Lebron would respect him had he put his foot down in the beginning. But it's too late in game 5 to change the status quo.

Or, if he's the one insisting on running things his way, maybe Lebron is the mediocre coach.

So it REALLY was Lebron's fault when they consistently faltered in the 4th.

not only did Lebron seem less effective, the team as a whole struggled.

From a coaching perspective, seems like Lebron is to blame.

Nobody can blame Blatt for this. He's making like $5 million a year. He's just supposed to up and quit? His way out is to publicly criticize Lebron and the Cavs organization and get fired and take a meaningful.

I wouldn't blame him for that.

Cavs are missing 2 key stars. Lebron's style suits a coach like Blatt where Lebron has full control....

Jackson and Pop are the only 2 coaches that would backhand the $hit out of Lebron and of those two Pop would make him cry.

    Windhorst:

    Chances Blatt is back?

    87%.

    Interesting article or obvious?

Concrete examples of what folks who have covered the Cavs have been saying, writing, reporting all year. In my opinion, it backs what I've said. His respect level is less than ideal [for a player-coach relationship].

    3 things LeBron wants/needs?

    -Wants the team to spend.
-See another guard brought in to support the back court.
    -See the team be healthy.

Wouldn't surprise me if he sits on the sidelines and waits to re-sign until he see the Cavs sign/spend.

Gilbert asked to break LT record, more than Prokhorov?

LeBron will expect something close to it. If they have a $100-110M payroll, it will approach that.

    Dwyane Wade?

Would he love to play with him again? Yes. Anything between now and Dwyane's decision is saber rattling. Unless Dwyane wants to take a massive, massive paycut, or Heat cooperating in a SnT, I don't see how this is possible. While there is a desire to play together again, if in Cleveland, it will take incredible movement. It's a negotiating ploy.

How will they be the same/different?

They hope to be healthy. They want Love back. There is something to be said for continuity. Every team in their 2nd year together will be better. Everyone tries to mimic the Spurs. No one mimics their continuity. If the Cavs bring back the majority of this team and add one piece, they'll be a strong team.

    Cavs better off keeping Wiggins?

Over the long haul maybe. They have no regrets and would do it again.

When Blatt was mic'ed up during the playoffs he sounded clueless, not confident and a lousy motivator. Doc Rivers actually really surprised me on how good of a motivational speaker he was.

And eff Marc Stein...idiot Dallas sports writer trying to stir the pot.

Does anyone actually realize that theon/reek admitted he never killed any of the Stark children? That bran and aiya are still alive... And who cares if Lebron was undermining his coach, if they don't win next year ill just have another reason to laugh at Kevin Love and Lebron for joining a sinking ship.
