Yeah when I say something crazy like I could see him being the Rockets 5 in the future I mean like not tomorrow. Under completely different circumstances with better team defense. The way the modern NBA is going someone that can fill that skill set offensively is probably underutilized as a stretch 4 that does nothing but sits in the corner. For now, that's probably what he has to be playing next to Dwight with the exception of some Horns sets. We are like 2 or 3 years though from that even being a reality. I just hope the Rockets see this and can better prepare for it with building up a much better team defense, and perimeter defenders.
Hey Cyber. For sake of a constant argument about Ricky Rubio. Can you please be able to confirm or deny that he's someone Morey is actually trying to or a target for the Rockets? Thanks bud.
lol - Rox are going to offer Kpap, Smith/Dmo and other combinations for some players - that is for sure.
I do like the idea of packaging Kpap/Prigs/TJones for a Vet Big. Particularly if their salary comes off the books after next season. I thought Thad Young was a FA? Rockets could really us a Vet Big that can hit the mid range shot and REBOUND! Rockets were KILLED in rebounding at the PF spot.
Do you consider any of these rim protectors? Chris Andersen Blake Griffin Tyson Chandler Joakim Noah Amir Johnson Kevin Garnett Nik Vucevic Javale McGee Chris Bosh Jordan Hill Mason Plumlee Gorgui Dieng If so, which ones? And why?
Who on ESPN? ESPN doesn't just speak as a holy entity from the sky. There are people though that create these reports though. Some reliable (Stein), some not so reliable (Chad Ford, SA Smith), and some that are usually full of BS, but sometimes know something (Broussard).
How much salary can the Rockets take back if the package was: Kpap/Prigs/TJones Is it combined salary + 150%?
Salary *150% plus 100k If they add Dorsey and Nick and get to over 9.8m outgoing it changes to outgoing salary plus 5m as the max in. Lawson and Lowry immediately come to mind.
