Not sure if I'll buy one, or if I'll get invites, but will keep that in mind. They'll have to wow me with price and specs. My current Oneplus One is just fine - I just don't know if I'm happy with the direction the company is headed.
They need to start including quality cameras on their phones. HTC has lagged behind in the camera department for years. The 20MP shooter on the M9 has been universally panned. I agree that the M8 (even with the ultrapixel camera) was better than the S5 but the S6 has a better camera and a far better display. Also the build quality advantage has been significantly narrowed with the S6. Same with the difference between speakers. The M9 is still better but not by leaps and bounds like it used to be. The M9 just looks like a new version of the M8 which then begs the question why not just buy the M8 since its cheaper. It just felt like a very uninspired offering.
What does that mean? What direction are they going? I thought this would be similar to the OnePlus One but with updated specs and a new OS. Price is to be $400, I've read, with a cheaper slimmed down model to come out late this year.
This x 1,000. I've had two Samsung phones (Galaxy Nexus and Note 4) and both have had a outstanding screens. Nothing else in the Android world comes close, IMHO.

The M9 is essentially the M8 but with a couple of tweaks and added features. My M8 was stolen and it was actually cheaper (free) to get the M9 even though my intent was to just get the M8 again. And while I miss and prefer the ultrapixel/duo camera from the M8, the recent software update for the M9 camera is enough to satisfy. They actually have some cool camera software/options
