Again though this isn't that she wants to be, changed her looks to be, acts black. It is that she is misrepresenting her background and has seemingly gained from it.

If she has misrepresented herself for things like getting a scholarship or for employment then it should be expected she would pay consequences for that. For example. If a scholarship is for children from families who earn less than $24K but I come from a family that earns $200K if I misrepresent that on my application, get the scholarship but then my actual background is found out I will likely lose that scholarship and get kicked out of school.

I have no problem with her identifying with a group that she wasn't part of. I play Irish music, love Irish culture, been to Ireland and dated Irish women. I could decide to change my name to Seamus O'Riordan, move to Ireland, dye my hair red and speak with a brogue. I still wouldn't be granted Irish citizenship automatically since my family actually isn't from Ireland. If I claimed that they were and it was found out that actually wasn't true Ireland would have all rights to banish me from their country for fraud.
