    I believe FBI is domestic

CIA or some other organization would be international

FBI most definately handles the Chinese hacks. which it is. I just wish all their available man power was on those hacks and not baseball.....

    Hey Jeff -

This is John Mozeliak of the Cardinals, and boy I've been itching to get my hands on Chris Carter. Would you be willing to give him up if I offered you Matt Carpenter? I would even throw in one of the three prospects of your choice at this link.

    Let me know.

    Regards,

    John Mozeliak

I think the FBI is big enough to handle multiple cases.

Baseball is a multi-billion dollar business. This is akin to corporate espionage and can lead to questioning the integrity of a multi-billion dollar business.

We wouldn't want the FBI involved in investigating potential crimes committed on US soil. That would be highly irregular.

it depends if you view the Astros and Cardinals as businesses as opposed to viewing MLB as its own business. To some extent i guess you are right and they are separate businesses.

I would argue Congress is too busy to investigate steroids in baseball and the FBI is too busy to investigate one baseball team hacking another. Especially when the latter has a means to internally handle the issue.

One of my Cardinal fan friends said that he thought it was just 3-4 low level guys and it's not a big deal. If anything, Luhnow should be in trouble for stealing from the Cards. Yeah.

Anyone remember espionage in the America's Cup where they sent a scuba diver under the oppositions boat to get a look and when discovered the opposition tried to spear him. That's espionage!

If this happened in 2011 and 2013 they should forfeit their championships. Also if they can prove they used/are using the stolen info now, they should have a W-L penalty. Should get # of losses needed to become worst team as of the execution date of punishment later this year.

When I heard it was the Cards I wondered if our GM used his same PW's from his days there. Someone else on the radio floated the idea that maybe he did leave them to bait the Cards. I really hope it's the case...

Well, they're about done with the investigation... this has been ongoing for some time now.

Don't worry... the FBI will go back to beating the real bad guys very soon.

I may have to "get over" the DH if this keeps up. Damn! Espionage in Major League Baseball directed not at the Yankees, not at the Red Sox, but at the freakin' Astros! Mind blowing doesn't begin to cover this. Am I having a flashback? This actually happened? Thank god, the FBI is on the case. If tallanvor thinks they shouldn't be, then they darn well need to be!

Did the Cards hack a bandwagon? That seems a bit pointless.
