Where's the rain? Should I go to work? I don't want to risk it and end up getting stranded there.

 

I'm working in Downtown. Dunno if I want to go out there and get stranded either. Anyone on the same boat here?

 

Supposed to be here 8:00-8:30 am. But it was also supposed to be here 2:00 am last night. I would play it safe and stay home.

 

Man is Bill just moving a hell of a lot slower than they thought? Getting light sprinkles in Clear Lake but nothing heavy yet. Sounds like they Are still predicting widespread flooding.

 

Apparently the rain will be so heavy that it won't take much to flood.

 

I work in the memorial area and I'm afraid they're going to want me to come in. Conference call at 8:30 for everyone to check in and decide what to do. Fingers crossed!

I have an interview at 12:30. I'm worried about getting stuck. Do I call to reschedule or does that look bad?

 

Same boat as the others on whether to go to downtown or not. Getting in is not an issue but leaving is a different story. Logged into my work email and all they say is that the building is open but let supervisor know if you can't make it. I think its best I don't risk it but not sure.

 

Roads were totally empty today so guessing alot of folks sitting this one out after the Memorial Day floods.

Hoping I don't have to swim home (or news comes in early to GTFO).

 

That would look horrible. Do not reschedule unless you absolutely have to.

Just got to work in the Greenway Plaza area (coming from Midtown).

Didn't have any issues with getting here, but plan on leaving at noon or early this afternoon so I'm not stranded. Hopefully jumping back on 59 won't be an issue later on.
