Nomura was the character creator on the original. I think Sakaguchi still directed it back then. But it should be in good hands with Nomura as director. Also agree with the poster above that Horizon looked damn good. Glad all this stuff is spaced out so my wallet won't be hurting too bad
Epic E3 by Sony. Love the troll job they did with FF and Starwars. FF7 remake, Horizon looks interesting, Dreams is a good concept, finally announced MIA Last Guardian, and Shenmue 3!!!! Might stray away from my no donation to kickstarter rule and give in to S3. Didn't get to watch MS conference, but the backwards compatibility is pretty sweet. I can now retire the 360 and have a reason to use the X1. The only game that gets any play time is Kinect Sports and Dance Central. Anyone know if Kinect games from the 360 will work on the Kinect 2 on X1? I might buy BO3. They adopted the Resistance 2 online co-op campaign idea and implemented it. I always thought that was a really good idea they had and they did too, since they tried to make a game revolved around it (Fuse).
One of the Giant Bomb guys joked that they had finally closed out one perpetual tease (Last Guardian) only to begin another. Probably untrue, I don't think it'll stay in design purgatory that long. But there's no way we'll see it before 2017 at the earliest, right? I'm betting they've only just begun development. Anyway, I don't think there's much question that Sony won the hype contest. On the other hand, they were trying to distract us from the fact that most of that cool stuff they showed us is still at least a year away. In the case of FFVII Remake and Shenmue 3, more like two years away. Don't get me wrong, nothing that Microsoft announced at their press conference for 2015 release really blew my hair back that much, either. I guess I had just hoped that two years into this generation good AAA titles wouldn't have been quite this lean. The only games I've truly loved so far are Bloodborne and The Witcher 3. That's kinda it.
With Fallout 4 coming out this November I think that can last me the two years until FF7 remake(hopefully!) comes out
Yup. Can't believe I passed on a $40 deal on the Xbox One controller because people kept telling me to wait for v2.0. Wtf. I will never drop 150 on a controller. Will be waiting for sales on the reg Xbox One controller.
2016 is stacked. I hope they make the game play a little quicker. After playing Bloodborne, Dark Souls feels sooo sluggish. Even the game play in Demon Souls was a tad bit quicker.
Microsoft > Sony...... Just got to finally watch both E3's.... Microsoft was just too much this year.... Halo 5, Forza 6, Tomb Raider, Gears 4, backwards compatibility, hololens.... Go home everyone, nice try thou....
The Kickstarter. Is Sony trying to test and see if people want it? Because we all know Sony has the money to back up that project. So why the Kickstarter?
Probably want to gauge the interest Shenmue 3 has. The game is going to cost a lot to develop for a video game series that historically hasn't sold well.
Well then this baby should be a go. I believe it's at $1.5 of the $2 million goal and it hasn't even been five hours yet. Hopefully this and FF7 get the resources they need so they aren't in development hell for the next few years
The PS4 and and Xbox ONE have been out for a long time and I still haven't found a reason to buy either of them, especially since most of the games still come out on the 360 and PS3. I think I've bought only 5 games total in the last few years. I watch E3 just to see if there is anything different so I can actually pony up.. Nothing yet... I mean, there's FF7 and Kingdom Hearts 3, but let's be honest, We will never see those games. Games aren't fun anymore. What happened to the fun obscure games? Anyone remember Tomba? Zone of the Enders 2? **** you DLC.
I think you're screwed on that one. I never finished it myself. Got bored of spending half my time watching Guardian Force animations.
