that 28-10 was a fluke but yeah without mozgov in the middle their D suffers tremendously. tough choice though as you do sacrifice things with him in the game as well as out.
Which of those Finals should he have won? 2007? It was an amazing feat for him to get that Cavs team that far. 2011? Ok, that one the Heat should've won. Had they not choked away a 15-point lead in the 4th quarter in Game 2, they would have. 2014? Don't blame LeBron. He did everything he could, but the Spurs had better depth, and Wade and Bosh didn't provide enough help. As for this year's Finals, first of all, it ain't over yet. Secondly, there is no way anyone can hold it against LeBron if the Cavs don't win this series. No Kyrie? No Love? And LeBron putting up insane numbers that would make MJ envious? The way I look at it, only 2011 can be held against LeBron. The rest are all justifiable losses. In fact, I'd argue the better team won in each instance.
blah blah blah, Lebron is MVP for the finals, if he doesn't get it, NBA needs to seriously redefine MVP from now on, might as well call it best player on best team award
looked at the box score, and it looks like jr smith the bum indeed did not score a single point in the second half. lol.
How is that different from the MVP award? Finals MVP is actually "most popular guy who didn't totally suck on the team that won the NBA Finals" award.
MVP has always meant = best/popular player on the best or winning team. curry = regular season curry = finals if they win.
In relation to the play of Lebron James during the Finals, where are all those people who criticized Westbrook for putting up similar numbers with the same type of high usage and so-called inefficiency? If you're now praising Lebron for doing the same thing that Westbrook did, you're nothing more than a hypocrite.

^^ we dont even know the makeups of the teams for next season yet. this is crazy. pure gambling and its meaningless for the moment.
Westbrook didn't win. Lebron got his team to the finals. This warriors team is pretty good. If it were a lesser team Lebron would have a chance. BTW westbrook was carrying the thunder. They just had too many injuries and RW is a level below lebron so he can't single handily carry a team.
If OKC was in east, then Westbrook could carry the team into the playoffs, then.... who knows. Westbrook had a better number than Lebron for a month, he was ranked (no.3) after Harden for the MVP race.
If we're going to take a step back and say what can we ding him for. Well then I think an EXTREMELY valid complaint is that he has yet to prove he meshes well with other great players. Not only can we point to 2011, we can point to the whole Heat run. In 12 they beat an inexperienced Thunder team. In 13 ... well, Ray Allen happened. Not that it doesn't count... And in 14, I get it that Wade and Bosh didn't provide enough. Certainly it is impossible to say what Wade's health was like. But could part of the reason they didn't provide enough be the fact that the system around LJ with other superstars has yet to mesh. Certainly wasn't blown away by the Lebron/Irving/Love combo this year. Lebron/Irving started to click, when Irving became obvious the team's shooting guard and Lebron the team's de facto PG. Cause that's what Lebron needs around him. Just pure shooter/scorer types... especially from the outside.
Actually, the anti-flopping rule is for the benefit of bigger players. You can't fault the system because the problem of most bigs is that they can't play the perimeter and they're either too lazy or too slow. Speed kills. The bigger you are also, the easier you get fatigued. And then, the 3 points territory. You can't really fault the smaller players for shooting 3pts better than a big. It's like faulting a big for having an easier time underneath the basket. Well, a big can shoot 3pts better if they'll just actually practice.
Some odds already out for 2015-16 We are still the Rodney Dangerfield's of the NBA <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Odds to win the 2015-16 NBA championship via <a href="https://twitter.com/Westgate_LV">@Westgate_LV</a>: Cavaliers: 9-4 Warriors: 5-1 Thunder: 5-1 Clippers: 10-1 Spurs: 12-1 Bulls: 12-1</p>— Arash Markazi (@ArashMarkazi) <a href="https://twitter.com/ArashMarkazi/status/610535997928042496">June 15, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Yup. 17 points in the 4th quarter alone in one of the most important game of the series... What do you expect? For him to guard James? or for him to do the rebounding and scoring? or for him to use ISO plays just to showcase how good he is? Ridiculous! Curry is making everybody better in his team just by attracting double teams near the 3 point area. He also operates in a team concept unlike some other superstars. There's a reason why there are actually 5 positions in basketball. Each position is unique though they may overlap from time to time. For somebody who is supposedly a pure offensive threat, Curry's defense is adequate enough or good enough for it to be hidden inside the team's defense. It's much better than the defense of a certain superstar who just tends to watch guards go past by him almost all the time.
