Me too. I hated the way he ended up leaving. I wish they'd found a way to keep him a part of the Rockets organization instead of showing him the door when he wasn't done coaching and using his health as cover for it. Rudy should have and could have been a Rocket for life. I think Les bungled that one, underestimating what a Rudy T meant to the city of Houston, just as he did with Murphy and even Turbo. Les is a great owner and I don't know if we could ask for a better one but the way he broke up with Rudy still leaves a bitter taste in my mouth.

It was an amazing documentary. Majestic, simply wonderful.

Btw, Robert Horry is such a likeable guy.

Finally saw the documentary last night... and it was great.

Great seeing Houston in the spotlight and the extra behind the scene tidbits were great.

My favorite parts was when Kenny Smith spoke of how selfless Dream was. He said when Olajuwon celebrated winning MVP with the entire team, it made him (Kenny) feel like it was his (Kenny) MVP. Hakeem is not only a great player, but he's a great person as well.

My other favorite part was when Blineberry talked about Jordan's comments one night after the Rockets had beaten the Bulls, again. MJ said, "good thing yall (HOU) can't get out the West. Because we have no answer for that big monster in the middle. I'm not sure we could win."

Rockets currently have the talent to create more great memories for the city.

Yeah, just now watched this on YouTube. Great, great stuff and I was surprised there were a few things that were new information. Only thing they should have added when discussing the uniqueness was not only being the only 6th seed to win but also to beat 4 teams who won 55+ games.

Anyway, all good. Also nice to focus a little on the Hakeem-Rudy relationship and how they were perfect for each other. Rudy should have never been a part of the Lakers. Really too bad he wanted to try coaching once more and all that led to. He is the greatest lifetime Rocket.

Someone here complained about Kenny Smith narrating lots of spots, but you need to realize that today, Kenny Smith is probably more popular than anyone of the team thanks to TNT.

Kenny is the link today back to Clutch City on the daily basis

That's pretty high praise coming from a Suns fan of the 90s. I'm glad to know that this documentary is getting unbiased praise or in this case praise from a person with oppositional bias.

    Best parts for me:
Max admitted that he'd made a mistake.
Gene and Jim's calls of those big moments
Barkley's face when talking about those series'
Kenny Smith's disdain for the Wall Street Journal;)
The love on Hakeem's face when Rudy T talked about him.

    Worst part:
Rudy T looking a bit frail.

What happened to Maxwell after he quit on the team? The documentary left that unanswered and I was only 1 at the time.

Maxwell wanted a contract extension at the BEGINNING of the season, so that was part of why he was pissed off. He was a free agent the next season and signed with Philadelphia AS A POINT GUARD

They paired him with Jerry Stackhouse for their backcourt.
