As an employer of a business that deals directly with the public and black customers, I would fire anyone that was racist and brought bad publicity to my business. That's just good business.
They are bullies and even turn on each other and other lefties all the time. They're building up some blowback.
So in your view that lady should be on food stamps and welfare for the rest of her life because she fought another lady on her off day. That doesn't sound insane to you?
Someone having the audacity to speak out against others who are flagrantly breaking the law must be punished by a lifetime of poverty. It's the only right thing to do.
It's like stepping into a huge mound of doo-doo: Jerry Seinfeld is the latest brave middle-aged white man to weigh in on the “creepy” ascendance of humorless p.c. SJW anti-free-speech scolds. We know the drill now–we’ve heard it from comedians like Seinfeld and Patton Oswalt and, to a lesser degree, Louis C.K. and Chris Rock. We’ve heard it packaged in a different format from Very Serious media commentators like Jonathan Chait, Laura Kipnis and, most recently, an anonymous white male adjunct professor whose left-wing students “terrify” him. http://www.salon.com/2015/06/11/how...outrage_machine_has_been_greatly_exaggerated/
How dare they swim in her pure, white pool? Don't they know their place is in Section 8? They were breaking the law in the same way that I'd be breaking the law if I smoked cigarettes in a property in which I had previously signed an agreement not to smoke. It's a lawyer issue, not a "call the cops to body slam people" issue.
Race had nothing to do with it, if the small community pool had 70 people from outside of the community roll on it and ignore the rules, the same thing would have happened. Trespassing is a "call the cops" issue, not a "call a lawyer" issue. There are black residents who swim there regularly, suggesting that it was just white people who didn't want black people in their "pure, white pool" is a pretty simple minded way of looking at it. If I showed up with 70 of my friends, jumped your back fence, and set up shop in your back yard with a DJ and threw a party, would you call the cops on us? Should I call you a racist if you got upset about it?
Who knows if she's racist or not, but she's essentially been living in blackface for years now and profiting off of it.....that's generally something that is frowned upon. Certainly a bigger story than some woman who got in an argument at a local pool with a bunch of kids who were trespassing.
I think you may be brain damaged. That seriously is the best-case scenario with someone as absent from reality as you are.
Does the freedom of commerce sound insane to you? It is up to each individual employer to decide whether to hire her. It is up to each customer whether to do business with each company.
This coming from the guy believing everyone had the right to be there??? There have been numerous statements saying that it was a private pool that got invaded. Why turn it into a race thing when it isn't?
That's understandable if you don't want your business to go down the toilet. People are free to say what they want... But you are free to fire them if their actions effect your profits. It's probably been turned into a "race thing" because of the way the situation was handled. But, it would be interesting to know if other residents in that neighborhood have ever had a pool party where they invited guests who didn't live there. Or was the girl who lives there who had the party and invited the guests who didn't live there was the 1st one to ever do it.
You are taking it to the extreme. No one wants her to be unemployed for the rest of her life. I think most people, who have sided against her, just want her punished. At the same time, a company has a right to fire people with questionable character or just more trouble than they are worth.
If the NAACP think it's wise to fire her, they have a right to. Don't you agree? Don't you also agree it's the NAACP's decision to do so just like in this case?
So in your view a business should be forced to keep a worker who hurts their business? That sounds pretty insane.
