    Has it actually been proven that she suffered discrimination? Considering she hasn't been truthful about her background I think this would call into question other claims she has made.

    Also Sprigle and John Howard Griffin who wrote Black Like Me were journalist who were doing so as part of a sociological experiment for journalistic purposes. They weren't doing so because they wanted to be black and certainly not for gaining entrance into an organization like the NAACP. Further I think we can both agree that things are different now for black people than they were in the 1950's.

    As far as transgender acceptance while yes people are accepting and I think a white person wanting to be black I don't think would be an issue. The issue here with this case though is if she miss represented herself to people regarding what her background was not just because she identified with that background but also for some sympathy, regarding alleged discrimination, and to get her position in the NAACP. Caitlyn Jenner didn't hide that she had been Bruce Jenner before but Rachel Dolezal has lied about her background. At the minimum it could be said she got her career under false pretenses.

    I mean, according to those pictures she can either be a 2-3 looking white chick, or an 6-7 looking black chick.
