Nolan Fontana's BA keeps creeping up and has gotten back to just being bad. He should able to get his BA up a little more. With his elite watching pitches skill, his OBP is back to being above average.

Or they could send down (or release) on of their 13 pitchers... they don't need 8 bullpen guys... and they actually do need more bench/pinch-hit options when some of the "regulars" are in famine mode.
Brock D. Dykxhoorn (sounds made up LOL) with an impressive 10 K's in 6 innings today. Now striking out 9.4 per 9. 6'8, and only 20. Those big fellas can take a little time to put it together.
Business as usual.

Hounds set down in the 4th. You're probably right but I kind of put him out of my mind since he ostensibly has no future with this team. He has got to be like 70% to be traded at the deadline. Gonna take some injuries for him to get another shot.
Musgrove just cruises game after game though and never walks anyone. Gone 7 tonight. See, the tandem starts are pretty arbitrary.
The rise of Joe Musgrove has been incredible. 7 IP, 6 H (solo homer), ER, 3 K Corpus leads 3-1 in the 8th. Chris Cotton is in for the Hooks.
Santana has actually been quite a bit better at AAA this year than he was last year. Thing that worries me though is if you just look at his numbers against pitchers in other organizations top 20 prospects lists, he really struggles. Seems he is getting better at taking advantage of bad pitching And for those who keep asking for Singleton, his AAA numbers are nearly identical to last years AAA numbers, and he also struggled mightily against other teams top 20 guys I think both of these two are moved be the deadline
Video from the Hooks game. Midland fans acting like a bunch of West Texas wussies. He was out- and choke on that broom, b****es!
