Evan Mathis was cut by the Eagles. Does he fit the Texans scheme?

I particularly liked the sound bites of Bayless in the Watt video. He just says stupid crap to be controversal, there is no way he's that dumb.

    Keith Mumphery Again

Mumphery continues to impress on the field and, despite his “rookie” label, he continues to do work in OTAs. Taking a closer look at Mumphery, it is easy to see why he is being successfully and it starts with his route running ability. Getting in and out of breaks creates the space he needs, granting a solid look into his ability running routes, despite that this is currently being done without pads. The positive reviews of Mumphery continue through a month of work.

If Cushing really does have his range back this could be the best defense in the league. And no exaggeration there.

Any time the pundits so universally crap on a pick, you've got to feel pretty good. When they are all gushing with praise is when it's time to worry.

BTW, Evan Mathis was pissed at the Eagles because he was "only" making $5.5 million this year. I don't think the Texans have that sort of cash to throw around so I wouldn't get your hopes up.

They'll have that system till either that punter wins/loses his lawsuit or till it takes out JJ Watt.

If it takes down Watt total carnage will ensue.

I thought they installed field turf almost right after the season ended?

I know Pat Starr reported that they were going to...

There was never confirmation of that original report.

About a week later, Pancakes tweeted that the Texans would not be changing the field this season.
