In terms of players? Kemp, Moran, and Gregor are there. Also the probable starter is TBA, so Musgrove might get the start, so that should be a good start. Have fun!
They just aren't as good as they were a month ago... was planning on making a trip as well, but all the players I wanted to see are now here. That being said, still the best affiliate to visit in the system.
You just realized they had a website...in the year of our lord, 2015? Can't speak for the experience in Midland but I love going to minor league games. If you're in the Austin area, I'd suggest going to a Round Rock Express game. Such a great atmosphere, no matter who the Express are currently affiliated with.
Believe it or not, some businesses out there don't have a site I'm in Lubbock, so midland is the closest.
Do they typically sign autographs - before or after minor league games? Since I'm in the opposing ballpark, should I be obnoxiously loud with my "CC!" chants, or is more decorum the better route?
This planted a seed and I will take my family to Corpus Christi for an overnighter to watch a game and tourist around. Haven't been to CC yet, so sounds like a great way to spend a weekend.
