    Oh. Ok.

So, dragging a team of scrubs through the Finals against a 67 win team and the MVP, while not having HCA nor 2 of the best players on your team means LeBron isn't the greatest ever? That's fine.

If it's not rings, what are you comparing the MJs, LeBrons, Russells and Hakeems to?

This isn't even a 67 win team reminiscent of something like Nash's Suns. The Warriors can kill you on offense, but they can also smother you on defense. GSW has thrown Iggy, Green and Barnes at LeBron, and they still can't stop him. JR Smith was bad in the first 2 games and completely lost his mind on some plays in game 2. Thompson and Mozgov hasn't exactly been a Randolph - Gasol offensive combo (the one that gave GS fits).

LeBron has overcome all of these things. If he had just made that final layup in GM1, they'd statistically be up 3-0.

If the Cavs go on to win this series and he's not considered GOAT or at least a very, very close second to Jordan, then what more does he have to do? If a ring is a ring is a ring?

What's scary is, LeBron still has 5-6 good years of solid basketball left in him. Hell, I can see him at 38-39 still being a legit contributor for some team.

this obsession to compare two of the best players in history with the players playing in 2 different eras and situations is really dumb. it's meaningless, and there really isn't any specific way to compare the two. you can put numbers or some criteria for both players.

anyways great series so far, and all the games going down the wire

Warriors are due for a great shooting game, which will most likely happen in game 4. The Cavs will have to win another game in GS if they want to win the series.

Stephen A w/ more poor analysis. Keeps saying the coaching staff needs to get Curry shots...which he's actually gotten from (illegal) screens.

Both Legler and Wilbon danced around it and said it's on Curry to take more initiative.

So if another player lets say 20 years from now wins his only ring by defeating a 68 winning team in the finals by being the superstar in his team...his automatically better than Lebron? wow

I had warriors in 5-6 games at the start...now definitely thinking it will go 7 games and it will be up for grabs.

Lebron's such a beast, but I get the feeling he's gonna wear down a little at this rate and sooner or later Warriors are gonna hit their shots. As good of defense Cavs are playing, Warriors are flat out missing some wide open shots too. Saw it against Grizzlies too.

But if I were Kerr I would not risk thinking Lebron can't keep this up. He's gotta change up the coverage and double more.

I still think the Warriors are in a strong position. Curry found his groove late and should be in good shape for game 4.

The Cavs won't be able to close out this series if their offense keeps crashing during the 4th quarter. I also think LeBron will run out of energy and hit the wall, probably in game 4.

LOL Where are the posters that were complaining about the refs? Now if you really watched game 3, you would know. Let's go Warriors, 3 more to go.

thank you lebron and cavs, for making the finals interesting and exciting.

curious to see what the lines in vegas is gonna be for game 4...

the cavs want to slow the pace down (of course they do). if gsw want to play their own brand of bball that got them to where they are, the first and foremost thing they need to do is to rebound better. there's nothing they can do to lebron slowly bringing up the ball. the only thing they can do is rebound and run for an outlet.

the rockets tried to slow it down as well. that's often why we saw harden bring the ball up slowly and dribble it to the last few ticks. the problem was we didnt rebound well outside of dwight. (plus, of course, our defense was nearly as good as the cavs.)

if i were kerr, i'd consider double/trap lebron in game 4 and force the ball outta his hands. not sure how it will work, but at least worth a try imo.

Green threw the first cheap shot with the backwards hip check and elbow. Dellavedova is a cheap shot artist, too, so he willingly responded.

In a battle of who is dirtier, Green and Bogut are the dirtiest players in this series.

They're actually in the same situation like v. Memphis. In game 3, got blown out, then came back. Kerr threw darts out there and found how effective Lee was.

If the Cavs don't find that solution, then the Warriors could win 3 in a row.

The thing is though, Lebron has not shot well at all one game. Despite his poor shooting, he will have one game where he does find his shot and shoots at least 50%. And he's missing a lot of "easy" shots for his standards.

This is an extremely exciting series. Depends on how long it goes, it could eclipse the classic Spurs/Clips series in round 1.
