Yep... it would have to involve an exceptional amount of crappy luck... which is happening. Over 162 games, things even out. There were several games the Astros won earlier in the year that could have just as easily been losses. I'd rather go through this sort of stretch now, vs. the stretch run of a season (which happens... even to the best teams... see the epic playoff chase collapses of two years ago).
I'd probably flip-flop Altuve and Springer again... simply just to get Altuve out of his funk. This offense is pretty much nonexistent without those two doing SOMETHING.
At this rate, the Astros will not score a run for the rest of the season. Well the good news is.. "with the first pick of the 2016 MLB draft, the Houston Astros select......"
This needs to happen. Altuve has been terrible (relatively speaking) in the 2 spot. Not sure what exactly we need to do to jump start this offense...but this has been a pathetic couple weeks. I cant even count how many times we've had a runner on 3rd with 0 outs or 1 out and failed to get him in. Nothing is going right at the moment.
