Supposedly the amount Boras floated out there was $5mil, which is top-5 money when he's more of a 10th best kind of a guy in a bad draft. That was why he fell so much. Of course, that the Astros took him meant it's probably a lower actual number and it's already agreed upon. Bregman over Rodgers at #2 is probably what got the extra money to sign him.
