Who cares if the girl was uncooperative? She wasn't doing anything wrong and isn't under an obligation to be cooperative.
Okay, so I'm just going to not even attempt a debate with you as you see things entirely differently than everyone else regarding what happened to the video. Please tell me what the officer was preventing by taking down a girl who was in the process of walking away and had to have the last word on her way out? Is the officer's ego being hurt warrant her being taken down like that? Do you honestly believe this? Everyone here besides you agrees this cop went over bounds while the other officers were in control.
She's being a kuhnte (legal, but I'm sure she was raised right ); however, she's interfering with the scene/public official's duties. If she walks her ignorant ass on home this doesn't happen.
When she was sitting on the ground saying she wanted her mom she was being cooperative. Then he picked her up, put her back on the ground and sat on her. She has to be cooperative because she was being detained. It doesn't matter if you are innocent or a victim if a cop detains you. You have to stay. Perhaps you are a witness or they are keeping everyone. I mean " isn't under an obligation to be cooperative" might be the dumbest thing so far in the thread.
Amazing, now we can make inferences on how a girl is raised because she exchanged words with a cop. I'm sorry but I would hope a LE officer has the proper training to zone out a ****ing 14 year old girl in bike having some harsh language for the officer when she is almost 20 feet away in the process of walking away.
It's not the cops job to worry about whether she was being unpleasant, or how she was raised. She was walking away when the cop escalated the physicality with her.
In my 4 posts here, I have not said I would have emulated the officer's actions. But no one ever wants to point out what the person who gets arrested should have done different. Same story, different book. Ferals act feral, cops show up, feral acts how they were raised and everyone says "look at the cops!"
What the **** is this ****? She wasn't detained because she was a witness. She was aggressively forced to the ground because the cop's ego was butt hurt because he couldn't handle a 14 year old's has tongue as she was walking away wanting the last word. I would hope the responsible adult would let her have the last word as she walked away and not deal with her again. Instead, no he ****ing charges at her puling er to the ground and then pinning her while tugging at her hair.
Here are the HOA rules for the club house, which clearly were being violated on several points of order, as they did not register their event in advance, they did not pay the required fees and deposits, and they had far more than the maximum number of people in attendance. The Full Story of The McKinney Texas, Pool Mob – Inside The “Craig Ranch” Subdivision…
It's hilarious to read conservatives try to excuse excessive force by police officers in response to HOA violations. BIG GOVERNMENT ARGH!!!!! You're right, it's ridiculous for people to expect more from police officers than to act like "ferals".
I'm sorry that I hold a grown adult man who is a trained LE officer to a higher standard in conflict resolution than a ****ing 14 year old girl.
Even if you are correct, does that answer the question of whether she OUGHT to have been detained. I'm glad LE officers are above reproach and can detain any shmuck on their own willy-nilly.
It looks like she wanted to walk off...after probably being told fifty times to leave....and decided to take a step back toward the officer (right as he's pointing). I've yet to see a transcript as to what was said. That's important. He may have told her "If you don't keep walking you're going to jail..." We don't know and I hate to speculate, but I would hope he wouldn't do that because of a smart mouth. One thing I'm betting the farm on is that she was told to leave repeatedly....and she clearly stopped walking (not leaving). Who knows how many warnings to leave she had.
Officers will not face discipline. No lawsuits. Nothing to see here. Y'all find something where the cops actually messed up.....maybe someone should dig the South Carolina cop thread up again.
Taking down a girl in the manner he did would only be warranted when an imminent threat is perceived ( I would hope). So please tell me what he accomplished by taking her down like that. Because if you are going to take a girl as young as 14 down like the way he did you better have accomplished something.
I think I feel sick to my stomach that you believe that a girl being assaulted doesn't warrant disciplinary measures. You are a LE officer aren't you? That's just plain scary. What department so I can avoid your jurisdiction?
I'm curious. When a bunch of guys with guns went to Nevada to support the law breaker, Bundy, and not only were uncooperative, but actually pointed their guns at law enforcement officers, do you think those officers should have escalated the violence?
