That'd work if Tucker goes slot or under right?

In an ideal world the Dbacks pass on Swanson which there have been rumors and we get Swanson, Tucker, Cameron. Absolutely amazing.

Getting Daz at 37 would be great and very reminiscent of McCullers

Im guessing Tucker will be had for under slot. At least, that would make the most sense to me.

If we come away with those 3 guys, I honestly dont know how I would be able to contain myself. That's just straight filthy.

We need it after graduating most of our blue chips. Reload time.

My guess is they'll get most of their extra money by going under slot at 2. Slot for 2 is about 7.4 million. My guess is no matter who they pick it will be under that number (the last three number one picks all signed or agreed to sign for substantially less than that). If the pick is Bregman (who as a college player has less leverage than Rodgers) my guess is the signing bonus starts with a 4 or 5. Tucker will probably be around slot at 5. Maybe a little less. Also remember they can go 5% over their total pool without incurring loss of draft pick penalties. With a record 17 plus million total pool that mean they have an additional 800,000 to play with and go overslot.

    Cameron wants 5 million, right?

If that's the case, we need to save quite a bit on those first two picks.

Slot at pick 37 is 1.7 million...and take into consideration we can go 800k over the pool money, then we need to go about 2.5 million under slot between picks 2 and 5.

Dansby wants 6 million supposedly. I cant see anyone wanting more or much more than that. Thats another $1.4 mil. It shouldnt be too difficult with a near $18 million pool. Obviously have to take some seniors in the top 10 though.

I'd prefer Benintendi to Bregman. I know you're not supposed to scout the stats, but one national player of the year and the other is a player with not a lot of upside hitting .312 in the same conference.

Looking to save money with way under slot at # 2. Tucker at 5 and then Daz at 37. 3 bats in a row works for me.

One might be a one year wonder as well. I still prefer Bregman. .312 is still a good average in the sec. He got on base at over .400 this past season. He rarely strikes out and he can hit the ball.

did he actually hit .312 in the SEC? Because LSU's non-conference schedule is absolutely terrible. So his average may be inflated due to that.
