Gotta love it! I will be in town this weekend from LA, going to catch Saturdays game for sure. Such an exciting season. Glad I got MLB.tv
With Correa making it to the show, figuring out where Lowrie will play is intriguing. Basically we can pick out of Carter and Valbuena who is still scuffling and insert Lowrie there. He was mashing before he got hurt. I think if it was even he would take over for Valbuena. Lunhow loves Carters huge power potential.
I still think he gets 3B against lefties always--and then subs at 1B/2B/SS against righties, giving everyone a day off here and there. I can't imagine they'd run him out in the OF given that he's never played an inning there in the majors (and has been a utility type guy), but if he could...that would make it super easy to get him regular ABs against righties

Wow, this pic led me to following Hank Conger on twitter... and realizing that his profile pic is him lying on a tiger. Correa is the only person that can pull off that hat... kid is just dynamite.
Cesar Cedeno came up at a time without all of the social media (1970). He was only 19 at the time, and he was VERY highly regarded at the time. In 90 games that yr he hit .310, and by '72 he (along with Clemente) were considered the two best OF in the Ntl league.
Everything about Correa spells a young A-Rod. His looks, fashion, skill-set, swing, etc. I didn't want to buy in a few years ago, but recently the hype and minors appearances has me sold. Here's to a long injury-free career with many great MLB memories (World Series rings, hardware, etc.)
Did you watch A-Rod early on? I know he played less than like 70 games combined his first 2 season and then he blew up his third year.
I've seen classic games on the web of him and some ESPN Classic games with him. Once you see the effortless swing comparison you will be sold. The body frame and all around demeanor spell superstar. We can only hope he mirrors A-Rod minus the roids.
I mean it gets you a few 250+ million dollar deals with no jail time and a one-year suspension to go along with a tainted career. So if you want that... so be it.
