If he wasn't a cop, his behavior would've gotten his ass kicked. If the police keep acting like this, it won't be long before the uniform is no longer a deterrent. They need to watch our, or mob justice will prevail.
The uniform wasn't a deterrent, the gun was. Of all the things the cop did that was wrong, pulling the gun on those 2 who were about to bum rush him wasn't one of them.
So I see Texxx is still ignoring my question. What did the officer prevent by taking down the 14 year old girl?
Jesus.. Are these people like the real life Mojoman seeing everything in the left vs right paradigm? Do they not have any empathy for the 14 year old girl who was assaulted for no reason other than having words with an officer as she was leaving? That is what individuals like these faux patriots have in common, a lack of empathy.
Don't over sell it.

The pool party was advertised on social media. These kids need a serious education on how to act in the presence of cops . That kid in the blue shirt is lucky he isn't dead . When he rushes at the cop it also looks like he could be reaching for something with the left hand .
Oversell what? These people are creating a false narrative that we are attacking all cops. ONE COP is being criticized here. In fact we have repeatedly said that the other cops were in control and doing the right thing. The community needed no 'protection'. None of these kids posed physical imminent threats. They were loud and obnoxious and that is about it. That still has absolutely nothing to do with the notion that that cop had no business taking down a 14 year old girl just because she talked back at the officer.
So if you saw a 14 year old girl in her bikini being assaulted by an adult male you wouldn't have a desire to help her especially if she was someone you knew? "BUT IT'S DA COPS. THEY ARE ABOVE REPROACH!". Seriously, what did that officer prevent by tackling her? His feelings being hurt?
There was a fight 20 minutes before that caused the police to be called so I'm not even sure WTF you are talking about there. You have a massive group that were trespassing and then refused to do what the cops said when they were inevitably called. I agree Rambo was on something but let's not forget what precipitated the entire thing.
Makes sense to me that a wanna be operator believes that a 14 year old girl deserved to be assaulted because she was talking back.
From all eye witness accounts, ONE fight broke out between an adult white woman and a 18 year old girl. That's it. I honestly don't know what we are arguing. Other than the one DEVGRU operator cop, the other cops were in control and doing their job fine. I just don't want this false narrative being created by certain members of that community that everyone believes all the cops that responded were bad. No, all our criticism is targeted at ONE COP.
This video horrified me. Not necessarily because of what I saw, as disgusting as it was, but mostly because had that have been my daughter... I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that I'd either be dead or locked up. This is really hitting home for me.
Doesn't matter what you think of cops ...they have the authority and a gun strapped to their hip , the best course is to show respect even if you don't agree .. yelling vulgarities at a cop has never turned out good for anyone ever . The cop was an ******* and should be fired but if I was that girls parent she'd be in a world of trouble at home
It doesn't matter. As soon as they started to gang up on him, pulling the weapon was appropriate. If they had made any further move to assault the officer - which they certainly did - it would have been appropriate for him to take whatever actions were necessary to defend himself, up to and including firing on them. Thankfully, that did not happen or need to happen here, but in the Michael Brown incident it very certainly did. You seem to be completely oblivious to what the responsibilities of a police officer are and the protections they have under the law to carry out their oftentimes extremely dangerous job. Especially in light of the riots we have seen recently in Ferguson and Baltimore, cops need to be on guard now more than ever and people need to be deferential to cops when given simple and basic instructions like sit down or don't move. When they disregard these simple procedures, that is usually when things begin to get out of hand, as they appear to have here. And while leftist-controlled ghetto-ridden towns like Baltimore and Detroit may think giving over their neighborhoods to people who are willing to disregard the instructions of the police and even attack police officers, most of the rest of the country very rightly is not going to stand for that kind of crap, very likely including the conservative Dallas suburb of McKinney, Texas (located in Collin county). The Obama Department of Justice has met with very little resistance with their quasi-takeovers of police departments in places like Ferguson. I could be mistaken, but if the Obama regime tries anything like that with McKinney, they are likely to see it turn into a very well-funded court case. Maybe even the Koch brothers will want to help fund such a valuable, highly important cause.
If it was my kid, I'd be pissed at the cop, but also pissed at her for being stupid enough to disrespect a cop to begin with. The cop needs to be fired for blowing up an otherwise calm situation and the girl needs to catch a whooping for her part. I know for a fact I would have if I had been in her place.
My statement has no bearing on any preconceived bias on LE. I asked you a simple question and you are dodging it. If you saw a 14 year old girl being assaulted by a grown male adult, would you feel morally inclined to help the 14 year old girl out? Yes or No? The officer had no standing assaulting the girl. Verbal exchange of words do not warrant physical confrontation. A cop's feelings being hurt does not warrant tackling 14 year old girls. Tackling individuals should be reserved for imminent threats. Do you have that low of a standard for trained LE officers that you criticize the 14 year old girl for being immature but 'understand' why the grown adult LE officer would have his feelings hurt and thus resort to taking down a 14 year old girl. Unlike you I place higher standards towards individuals who are authorized to use deadly force amongst the general public according to their own discretion more than 14 year old girls at a pool party.
