    Was just looking at his linkedin profile the other day - he official title was "looking for new opportunities" - very telling to go from GM to that.

    If I remember correctly we had a great farm system with him as Hunsicker's #2, but it was mostly Hunsicker's Draft-and-Follow approach (getting guys like Oswalt and Redding in the 21st round) and the success of the foreign academies that led to their success.

    It doesn't sound like he's going to be a final decision-maker on anything, but hopefully the region he scouts isn't all that important.
