Hey guys just in case you weren't sure if meryn trant is bad, look, he's a pedophile! Hey guys, in case you were torn on rooting for Brienne or stannis, look, he burned his daughter!
Yeah the only problem is, he knew he was going to kill her but still left. If he was intending to bail on Stannis he might as well have stolen the girl. Of course that wouldn't help move this story along.
If they make it to where daavos knew, then that is terrible writing. He risked certain death to save gendry
I'm sure Davos thought there was that potential, but he wouldn't actually go through with it. he has clearly put a lot of Faith into him. Hell, as a viewer I wasn't sure he would go through with it. It will be interesting to see how they go forward with the Davos character now.
I just read to see where this lines up with the books and it has made me very disappointed. Show writers are terrible.
Good episode. I knew Shireen was dead the minute the Red Woman insisted that his family come. Ugly, but hey, Stannis has a destiny to fulfill. Looking forward to seeing Ramsay get his **** ruined real soon. Dragon-riding.
On the other side of the world, that Dorne king seems like a complete idiot. You're going to let the kingslayer go plus give him your son? Wtf?
So does Danny have greyscale now? They made a point to show her and Jorah touching... It was lucky for her that Jorah was there, otherwise she might have regretted sitting in a box with like two guards in a town where countless of her men have been killed.
He's probably the smartest ruler in all of the 7 kingdoms. His people are safe, and have avoided the massive war that has killed thousands. His brother wasn't murdered. He was killed in a trial by combat that he volunteered for. He has no reason to think his people won't be safe.
He seems quite reasonable and level headed to me. Jamie has no qualms with Tristan. He just wants to make sure his daughter is safe. The guy is doing everything possible to not start an unnecessary war.
Seriously, the dorne storyline has been kind of meh, but not because the prince is weak. He's smart. His army is intact, his people are safe, etc.
I wasn't sure if it was about that or just the taking the hand as a sign of renewed trust. My impression is that the guys who infected Jorah were covered in greyscale so their touch was worse. Maybe he has to rub his patch on her. Which I'm sure he's open too.
