the pelicans only got in because durant and westbrook were injured. curry has had almost no competition because all of his competition is injured.

what do you know. the best point guard he's played all playoffs on a bum knee was actually giving it to him before he got injured.

every team they played in the playoffs has had important players injured. like i said, i give them props for staying healthy but you're not gonna make it seem like they had some impressive run to the championship.

years from now this will be looked at as one of the most forgetable seasons in nba history.

That's what you wait through 82 games and a few ugly rounds of poorly-played basketball to get: Klay Thompson versus Dellavadova. The best versus the best. Win or go home... or just... go home.

    pelicans: superstar anthony davis
grizzlies: randolph/gasol (their two best players)
    rockets: harden/howard

warriors still had to go thru the other teams stars so lets not pretend it was a cakewalk.

People will always try to find something to bash teams...They call some sore losers or salty haters.

the pelicans and the grizzlies are not very good teams. the rockets are decent but curry didn't have to go up against the rockets with beverley and d-mo.

finally he meets a point guard worth a damn who was making him work on both ends and he gets injured.

like i said, congrats to the warriors but this is a forgettable season.

Grizzlies are a good team. That's like saying Clippers are not a very good team.

No one cares what they do in the post season, tbh. They will be talked about because of what they did in the regular season.

the grizzlies are not good enough offesnively to be a real contender. espeically with an injured conley and allen.

they're the team people like to talk about but the reality is they need a true number 1 scorer to be a real contender.

so you're saying none of the teams this year in the nba were very good? the warriors have to go through all 4 of the first team all NBA team players to win the title. Who else could the warriors have faced that were better? Spurs? Clippers? by default they were worse than the rockets

this was a pretty weak year on both side with all teams (outside of the warriors) missing key peices.

it's not the warriors fault that contending teams have gone through injureis but it is what it is. this is a forgettable year.

It WAS a cakewalk. The Pelicans never stood a chance at beating the Warriors, but they did give them a scare in Games 2 and 3. Maybe New Orleans would've won a game or two had Evans and Holiday not been banged up.

Memphis might've knocked off Golden State had they not been derailed by injuries to Conley and Allen. Keep in mind that the reason the Grizzlies faded so badly down the stretch in the regular season was because those two guys were either playing hurt or out of the lineup. When they're healthy, Memphis is as good as any team in the NBA.

The Rockets probably don't beat the Warriors had D-Mo and Bev been healthy and Josh Smith not collided with Dwight's knee in Game 1. But I could definitely see that series going 7.

And the Cavs could've definitely beaten the Warriors if Irving and Love are in the lineup. Unfortunately now we'll never know.

I'm not even anti-Warriors, I just wanted a lengthy, competitive, hard-fought series. My enthusiasm has been crushed.

This was a passionless series for me even before Kyrie's injury.

You guys may think I am crazy, BUT, I feel like the Cavs have a better chance of winning without Kyrie. If you watched the Atlanta series, you would have noticed that the ENTIRE team had to get involved. I feel like there is too much iso, with Lebron and Kyrie on the floor.

Joy? Non Warriors could not care less about them winning titles....

I do not care about Celtics and Lakers amass 15+ titles each......

Only those Bay area fans and some bandwagoners from elsewhere would.

Yeah, that's my point. Why does anyone think that anyone outside of hardcore bball fans or fans of a rival would give a ****? The casual NBA fan does not give a ****.
