He never said "Houston interest? I want to stay in Real Madrid", that's a rigged statement created by a partial fansite. He said: "It is a compliment that they speak well about me, but I'm happy at Real Madrid and I have a contract for many years. Now what I'm focused on is Sunday's game and get to the finals".

Normal statement in the middle of a playoff series. Wouldn't draw conclusions from there.

sometimes i feel like he's being overhyped. is he really that good where its gonna make a huge difference?

 

Llull is smart. He can see the eventual demise of the Euro and is going to get paid with a real currency.

But seriously, the strength of the dollar certainly ain't hurting our case right now.

 

I won't believe it until he's on the podium answering "How do you plan to go up against Steph Curry?" with "If he can catch me, then we'll see..."

 

I hope this happens. From the handful of games I've seen him play, he seems to have similar defensive tenacity and intensity as Beverly, but also has a good offensive game, as he can shoot, create and plays at a Rockets-at-their-best pace.

 

Seems like a reasonable expectation.

Everyone keeps saying this. No one is going shut down Curry, certainly no one we will be able to get. You want to SLOW down Curry? Make him defend, because he is bad at it really doesn't want to do it. Curry uses a lot of energy on offense. If you can fight to stay in front of him, bump him some and make him work defensively, you have a shot at limiting him.

what is so special about sergio llull?? from some of the highlights he just tosses up terrible shots and doesn't look fast driving to the hole. he looks like an average euro player that won't cut it in the nba.

 

That be great, because history would suggest that we'd sign Curry soon after he says that.

 

Some people here really baffle me. You know the meaning of highlights? Of course they'll handpick more difficult and creative shots, average Fans wouldn't watch a video of a player shooting open jumpers or converting usual layups.

US people that don't watch European basketball and judge a player solely on YouTube videos shouldn't post in these threads, the comments are terrible.

I remember that, I said I thought there had to be better ways to spend 9M but guys around here were in love with him based on some YouTube videos and some games he had in the Euro finals.

He's got to be better than Prigs though so its a net positive if you unload Papa and Prigs for him.
