The only great series throughout the playoffs was LAC-SAS. Kinda sad.

Hawks-Wizards wasn't bad... and LeBron could still have something crazy in store...

How crazy is it that if the Cavs won in regulation, EVERYTHING would have changed!

Fractured knee cap is just a freak accident or could it be related to his other knee problems (tendonitis, etc.)?

Yeah, I guess you can say that, but he also could've gotten hurt in the first quarter of the next game.

GSW were full strength and every team they ran into had injuries... Kind of dumb, but whatever. They won't repeat.

I have never seen a team get more breaks than the Warriors this year.

I'm watching the replay and don't get how he could have fractured his knee. His knee didn't hit anything. ??

Seems like a bizarro 1/1000 freak accident. Karma from delladedova transferred onto Irving.

Maybe. But I think Kyrie's injury was an accident waiting to happen. A win in regulation would've at least given the Cavs a shot though.

I know the Warriors won 67 games, but I'm sorry. This is gonna go down as one of the most worthless title runs in NBA history. They never had to play anyone even close to full strength. Even the 72-win Bulls at least had to deal with an almost healthy 64-win Sonics(Nate McMillan was out or played injured that series) in the Finals in 1996.

If there's any justice, Golden State will be plagued with injuries next year and have to face a bunch of healthy opponents. Even sweeter would be them getting knocked out of the playoffs by someone like the Thunder who were the antitheses of the Warriors this season in terms of health.

I dont think he is humble bragging. He is annoyed Media is saying GSW just let him get 40. I would be annoyed too. Just like people thanked Pelicans for beating Spurs so Rockets could get the second seed. Rockets earned the second seed they weren't gifted it because Pelicans won.

Unless they wanna pay 40-50 mil in luxury tax payments, yes they have to find a taker for Lee in order to afford to keep Green. They'll probably also lose Barbosa since he's making less than 1 1/2 mil and will likely get an offer larger than that from someone. And they may have to decline the team option on Speights since that's nearly 4 mil they'd be paying plus the luxury tax on top of it.

Other than Lee, Barbosa, and maybe Speights, they'll probably bring back the rest of their core even though they'll still be paying some luxury tax. The real dilemma for them is 2016 and beyond. I'm certain they'll try to re-sign Barnes, but Ezeli is also a free agent. Even with the cap rising, I don't know if they'll have the money to keep both of those guys.

And then in 2017, Curry, Bogut, Iggy, and Livingston are all free agents. After Curry gets a bump in pay to 30+ mil/yr, there's no way in hell they can hang onto the rest of those players. One or maybe two will have to go unless they're willing to take a massive paycut which is very doubtful.

So the Warriors' window is at most 2 more years with the majority of this core. And this season is the last time they'll have this much depth.
