You can see the confidence that Altidore and Bradley are getting by playing together for Toronto FC. That may be the best thing to happen to the USMNT in a long time, to have 2 of their best 3 players - playing on a regular basis for the same team (Dempsey being the third of course).

With that said, yesterday's match was painful to watch... because for all the brilliance they had on offense, the defense was just terrible.

I'm hoping if Tyler Deric keeps up his dominance for the Dynamo that he will get some real consideration for USMNT goalie duty... because Nick Rimando as brilliant as he is, just doesn't have the size to be truly dominant in goal. I know the collapse yesterday was more on our defenders, but I can't help but feel that Tim Howard could have stopped at least one of those attempts.

USA concedes another late goal to throw away a win. Recurring theme now. At least this time they were playing a man down after Jozy's red.

US @ The Netherlands on right now (ESPN)

Good start by our boys. Have had some excellent opportunities that they just haven't finished, yet.

June 10 @ Germany is the 2nd game of this short tour getting ready for the Gold Cup.

Entertaining first half! Could use better finishing when in front of goal and need John Brooks to keep his mark better.

    HOW ABOUT THIS!?

Down 3-1 and now up 4-3 IN the Amsterdam Arena? This was no dutch B team for swolly and the other haters to complain about.

First we take down Fifa, now the Netherlands! Woah. What a comeback. Landmark moment as we establish dominance.

All that said, the American D continues to baffle me.

Nice to see them comeback and win!!

The Brooks and Wood goals showed serious holes in the Dutch D, but we'll take it!! Thank you, woodwork :)

Why would I be hating? They played their butts off and continued to play when their opponent didn't take them seriously and it was for nothing so they let themselves lose. Why are you calling me out? Haha. You look dumb doing so, leroy420. :p

Van Persie, Robben, Huntelaars, Dejong didn't play most of the game. How is that NOT their B team? Haha.

USA deserved to win. Why not?

Robben couldn't play since he was getting over an injury from the following play:

Van Persie started and played most of the game. Huntelaar scored 2 of their 3. Missing 1 player doesn't relegate the rest of the team to B team status. What game did you watch?

Why? Because you and a couple of other posters on this board never cease to show a genuine disdain for the soccer team that represents the country you live in.
