One of Madrid's defensive assets, especially at putting pressure on an opponent 1on1. Can be really aggressive and shut down one guy, has right size, foot work and mindset.

I want to be excited about him, but I just can't help but think of all the overhyped rockets euro players that have come over and done nothing. Most recently papa.

I know lull is supposed to be on a different level, so I love reading how everyone else thinks he's the answer...if morey think so, then I'm in.

One thing that does have me excited, is that Morley is going after him early. It means he thinks llull could be the answer. Compare that to how we signed papa last year.i t was after we had missed on everyone else, and we just had to find players to play. A bit of a Desperation signing

i just don't see him coming over to be a backup- if he comes, it's because he's been told he'll start, or at least have a solid opportunity to do so. it's not about the money they're paying, it's about Llull's attitude on the court, which has starter mentality written all over it. whatever one says about his game, i love the competitiveness i see from him- something this team really needs.

Even without home court, GS was probably going to thump the Rockets, but you never know, and the Warriors had an 11 game regular season lead! To close that 11 game gap, Morey needs to find depth, and signing Llull is the first step towards doing that.

Can Dwight stay healthy? Is D-Mo enough? Lots of questions. Lots of holes.

It's going to be an interesting offseason.

It would also help to have a credible offensive strategy that's actually professional and has ball movement.

Ball movement is on the players. The Rockets do have an offensive strategy. It comes down to players executing.

I can't help but think Golden State lead a charmed life this season. No real injuries to speak of. Can they repeat that? Guess we will see next season.

The Rockets' offensive issue is more about talent than strategy.

The Rockets ranked 12th this season on regular season offense after ranking 4th in 2013-14 and 6th in 2012-13 using a similar offensive strategy. The difference is that the Rockets replaced perimeter guys who can make plays off the dribble with more one-dimensional players and rather mediocre spot-up shooters.

Getting more ball movement may help some and probably is something that is worth pursuing but it is still critical to improve the offensive talent. We can move the ball around all we want, but Harden is the only player that the opposing D has to worry about beating them off the dribble, it makes their job much easier when the ball does get moved to non-Harden players.

Some of the answers might come from some current Toronto Raptors players... Besides Lowry, I kind of like Ross or Williams. James Johnson might also be a good bench player probably to replace TJones...

Good call. Final Four wasn't good enough with that roster v W's.

And yet our O-challenged newcomers out-performed their D-challenged predecessors.

Don't be silly. Golden State proved during the regular season and the playoffs that they have the best team. The Rockets were missing two important rotation players. So, you can speculate that the Rockets could have maybe gotten past the Warriors if healthy. But, the undermanned Rockets were always a long shot to make it past the Warriors.

As for Llull. I would love to see him come over and play for the Rockets. He would play the same role that Jeremy Lin played. The Rockets could start him if he wants to start. But he would always be on the floor when Harden sits.

We would not even be discussing this if Dwight could hit his free throws. We would have been playing last night. #Seriously

Uh, sarcasm alert. Note what the xikster was replying to.

I am proud of the team and how they came through. It will be difficult to improve upon even with an improved roster, that's how far they came!

I just don't see him being much help if he's not better than Beverley. The problem with this team even before Beverley went out was that he was a sub-par starter. If Llull can't bear out Beverly for the starting spot, then bringing him over accomplishes nothing.

Beverly isn't coming back. I'm 80% sure of it.

At this point I'd rather keep Brewer than Bev.

It would also be helpful to have a roster go essentially injury free for an entire season like the Warriors.

It comes down to Harden crossing his defender over then scoring or dishing it off to someone for a three or alley oop. If that wasn't the case Harden wouldn't have scored 45 points game 4 or had 13 turnovers in game 5.

If Beverley is playing we still lose and of Motiejunas is playing we still lose and if both are plain we still lose. Granted Warriors have a better gameplan offensively and defensively than us but what hurts us is they execute their better plan than we execute our worse gameplan. We are lucky Speights didn't play alongside Ezeli off the bench... it would have been embarrassing. If we make the right moves in the offseason and the glaring adjustments that have to be made against certain teams like GS then we will win it all. But if we play street ball against every team the same freaking way then we will get blitzed in the playoffs by teams like GS and Spurs. That's the reality.
