is it predictable? Curious how this team has won ANY games given that they tend to K and it's clearly predictable/happens all the time
Tucker's bad would've been nice in both the innings with guys on 3rd nobody out. Instead we use him as a pinch runner on second with two outs and Villar at the plate. Wow.
That's like upgrading from a snail to a sloth. Gotta increase the odds of the opportunity if only just a little, though, especially against a guy like Britton. Dude is filthy.
Nope. McCullers great game last night was looked at as pretty crappy hitting by the Orioles... if you talk to Orioles fans.
We need to balance this lineup badly. Put some On base guys in the lineup mixed with the good power guys. I'd rather see Nolan Fontana play SS than Villar and Gonzalez if we being honest. All these K's pissing me off.
Cant complain about a 4-3 homestand (if Astros go on to lose) against 2 tough clubs in White Sox and Orioles.
What is this even supposed to mean? That makes zero sense. Preston is currently the better hitter...he strikes out less, hits for a better average, and has performed better with runners in scoring position.
How the hell is there SO much negativity in here? I know the team has left men on base and all. I get some frustration. But by the # of negative posts/overall tone in here, I'd assume this was 2013. These guys have the best record in the AL and are just 1 run down after winning 3 straight against this team.
Silver lining is that this should be the last time we see Qualls in a tie game late innings before Fields or Neshek. Or Harris.
Meh...White Sox and Orioles are not world beaters. A lot of missed opportunities in the losses on the home stand. Oh well.
marwin's blunder and qualls being there really hurt us. I like qualls with a 2 run lead. believe it, we still take the series 3-1.
