I remember when V-Span self-proclaimed himself the T-Mac of GREECE, and JVG laughed, and people laughed.

Sergio Llull is the __Sergio Llull__ of the worldwide basketball pool of talent.

Look it like this. He needs many years to develop. Why develop on our payroll? Let someome else teach him while paying him and in 3 years if hes good we can go after him. Right npw one of the franchise cornerstones is 30 amd the team went to the west finals.

Is he much better than Sergio Rodriguez?

Because he could be the Brewer replacement next year and eventually the potential Ariza replacement? At least that's what I see in him. His 3 point shot is iffy, but so is Brewer's. What does Brewer bring to the table that KJ couldn't?

I hope we are signing him to trade for Lowry.

Brewer is ready to contribute now. What hs kj shown you that lets you to believe you can put him in the fourth quarter of the second round playoffs amd help you to mke a comeback? And bew is " free" Kj costs llull and possibly smith.

I watched Llul's highlights and there is nothing spectacular about his game...he's not fast, more like a low-budget Ginoboli, and most of his highlights are unorthodox shots. If Llul comes over, I hope he would be more of a bench role player, need more of an upgrade at point guard.
    Proposal:
Trade T. Jones, Capella, Johnson, and #18 pick for Kyle Lowry
    or
Trade #18 pick and Johnson for Rubio

He can fit in well on transition offense and pick and roll, but I am not sure how well he can adapt to the NBA game.

In the Salary Cap thread, Bima Thug answered the question for KJ. His salary contract seems to be difficult to be handled.

Well what does Brewer do that McDaniels can't? Neither are good 3 point shooters, and both can run the floor and finish at the rim. Also McDaniels is the superior defender.

IMO KJ could probably contribute more to this upcoming season than Brewer.

I'm sure Lull will be a good NBA player. But I'd feel better going into the season with a proven NBA PG as our starter.

Yeah I saw that, and I understand if that's the issue, but I'm not super high on Llull so not being able to bring him over wouldn't be the end of the world for me.

Rubio is not worth it for the new contact that he just signed and his production level is low. I rather have Lowry back but I think that is a long shot

It doesnt matter really. Unless we go back with a pg rotation again of bev and two grandpas and a rookie plus a kj at the wings if thats what you are suggesting??
There is no other choice. For every trade you are depending on another team. And the other team is in no particular hurry to trade you a pg. The Rockets trading chips are poor. You cant offer a kings ransom to make a trade for lawson or lowry or rubio or teague an easy choice for the other team.

He is overall better than Prigs right now but he is so much different. He is a scorer, can run plays for others but he will not control tempo like a pure point guard.

I don't think a rotation of Bev and Llull is drastically superior to Bev and the best we could draft. No matter what you do, Bev is still going to be the best PG on the roster.

Look at our luck with Europe's best defensive big... With our luck, Llull'll be Vassilis Spanoulis 2.0. Since I've seen varying reviews on Llull, I just don't know. Finger's crossed we draft a tall, 3-and-D, fundamentally sound PG.

My off-season fantasy: Morey reunites Prigioni, Ginobili, Delfino, Scola, and Nocioni for an aging Argentine 2nd unit-- how cool would it be to see them go out together with an NBA championship? Los vendas viejos, bebe.
