The only difference here is that D'Antoni and Jeremy love each other more than Doc and Austin do. D'Antoni and Jeremy is a combination of Doc and Austin and the Morris Twins.
Should go to the 76ers but I doubt they would want him. Will be very interesting to see if there is any demand for him. Most important off season in his career. As in, it will determine if his career is over.
Hahahaha. Lin's turnovers are always exaggerated from haters like you while Harden gets 13 turnovers in a elimination playoff game. Lin attempts a lot of full-court passes that lead to easy 2's. His TO decreased from 3.6 during his stint in NY to 2.2 in recent season. But boo hoo Lin's a turnover machine! Court awareness is one thing that is for sure his forte. However, Lin's handles could use more work. Even Lin fans admit this. It's not as horrid as you say, but every PG could improve their handles unless their name is Irving. Can't believe how butthurt you are that you are still talking about him after he's changed two teams (if you include the new team he will acquire this offseason). Keep posting Tinman
If D'Antoni went to Denver, I'm sure Denver would zoom to the top of Lin's list. But I rather doubt it would have any bearing on whether or not we got Lawson.
Uhh, for an NBA point guard, he might be one of the worse ball handlers in the league. He gets too nervous when there's tight defense and he dribbles too high. However, he has a very quick first step and is great at getting to the rim so he can help shield his shaky handles when he is in attack mode. That's why Lin is practically useless when he plays passive as we all witnessed for 2 years here in Houston. And just so you don't accuse me of being a Lin hater, Harden struggles too with his handles when there is tight defense.
You realize you actually have to get to the playoffs to get turnovers in a playoff game. Any team where Lin is the best player will never make the playoffs.
Jeremy Lin 2014-2015 Highlights... <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/jmb_uLIYBP8" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Point Guard?
No doubt, we don't want Jeremy Lin back because of his fans. Those LOFs practically lost the playoff for us against the Portland. His fans are one of the biggest factors teams around the league don't want his service. Sure he got handles, spli/draw the defense, attack the lane, high shooting percentage, can take the pressure of Harden...but hell to the nah...his loco fans will make us an under .500 team. I don't get them, why do they support him so much? They should be criticizing and making fun of him like we do, now thats normal! So no Jeremy in Houston unless he's playing against us!
Jeremy Lin: Free Agent Patrick Beverley: Restricted Free Agent Yet, Chandler Parsons trying to get Beverley on board. Why does Jeremy Lin always get smacked by Patrick Beverley??
“I felt pretty burnt out coming out of this past season.” - Lin LOL @ the Mental Midget. Stunk it up on one of the worst teams in the league and lost his starting spot once again to, not one, but two "Who??" players, and now he feels burnt out.....Awwww. Burnt out is for players that carry their teams all season long and deep into the playoffs. The only place Jeremy Lin carried his team was to the draft lottery pick.
I hear the phrase LOF thrown around a lot here, but I rarely see anyone defending him. If anything, this thread is full of LOH. Granted, I don't view this thread often, but it's hard to ignore it when it's near the top of the forum for a year. Do you guys have nothing better to do in your lives than to continue trashing a player who hasn't been on our team for over a year? What is this sick obsession you guys have with this mob mentality on attacking anyone who doesn't agree with you? InB4 I'm called a LOF because I question some of ya'lls sanity. If anything, all this bashing shows what kind of characters you guys truly have.
The question that begs to be asked is... Why are the Lakers not keen on re-signing Jeremy Lin??? Just think about this.... If he is a young player with talent like the Lin fanatics claim him t be, does it not make sense that they would be eager to re-sign Lin as one of the young pieces. It would make sense to retain him as part of the rebuilding process. Instead, Lakers have publicly said that they would look at Lin after looking at how the other pieces fall. Translation? We have looked at him all season long and we feel we can do better via draft/FA. And there it the verdict on Jeremy Lin.... One of the worst teams in the league with a piss poor roster is looking at alternatives.

While Jeremy Lin was the main reason Rockets were eliminated the year before. Harden without Jeremy Lin? Carries his team all season long without Dwight Howard (regular season) and then leads them to WCF (last 4 teams standing in the playoffs). Jeremy Lin without Harden? Loses his roster spot to super scrub Ronnie Price and some random rookie and gets the Lakers to the lottery land (last 4 team in the league in the regular season). All verifiable FACTS! Any comparison of Jeremy Lin to James harden is downright laughable at this point. Obligatory...LOL. There is a reason why bluelampoon has a glaring red dot beside his moniker.
Someone will sign him for more than the minimum. As a player, I would love to have Lin back for the minimum. He's not a great player and he has no business being a starter, but playing the Leandro Barbosa in GS role? I'd be all over it. The problem, and it's a BIG problem, is that he doesn't come without the baggage of his fans and his haters. I can't deal with the BBS degrading into that pissing match again, so even though I'd like the player on the team for the minimum, I don't want him back.
I'd have to agree with justtxyank on this one. Nba fandom is full of 'ancillary factors' and Lin is one glaring factor I'd rather live without.
I like our backup point guard situation, we need to fix the starting point position. Will we pay big money to beverly or find someone else who is a better offensive player? Terry and prigs proved themselves and they were on the cheap.
