(TMZ) Harden was hanging with Ty Lawson last night

Because Lawson is proven and an all-star caliber player if it weren't the golden age of PG's.

Llull looks like he has the right personality for a championship team, and I like that... but he is not proven in the NBA. I don't know much about euro basketball, however I do know that no Euroleague player has ever just stepped into the starting lineup and produced straight away, no matter how much experience they have (incl Ginobili/Parker/Dirk/Scola/). Mirotic is a slight exception as he got into the starting lineup by the end of his first season, however injuries were a part of that accelerated process).

Now Llul as a bench player could be great for us straight away (however he might also be like K-Pap or V-Span).. however a starting PG is a need for us. If we can get Llul this year, great, but not if it stops us getting a true starting PG.

Problem with getting Lawson is we may have to give up a big piece to get him.

Because Lawson bag 15/9.5 last season and 17/8 the year before, I like the little iv seen of lull but nobody including you no what kind of player he will be in the NBA. My money is he's not close to Lawson's production the last two seasons.

I'm confident Lawson can be had, and avg 17/8 on the Rockets, while shooting 46/38/80. He's the type of player mchale and the team wants, he plays down hill as mchale likes to say and he can be that 2nd playmaker we need on the court opposite of James. We all know James sucks the defense to one side of the court Lawson is so fast and has a great handle plus can finish in the paint. He would have so much open space from all the attention harden attracts.

If you watch his game he's a poor mans cp3. If he can develop the mid range jumper he would be deadly because he can get that shot off any time he wants. He's prob the quickest guy in the league with the ball and has a very underrated handle. Iv bee high on Ty Lawson for quite some time and think he's the type of guy that on a contender would look a lot better then he actually is.

Remember fellas James makes the game easy for everyone look at smith brewer and terry revitalizing their careers as soon as they came to Houston. He makes the avg look very good, Lawson is not avg, he's boarderline Allstar and has more talent then Lowry who many of you want plus they make the same amount of $$$. This is a no brainier imo and I tralky think of harden wants him he will be in Houston this summer. We'll know by draft night that's Forsure.

 

Oh man, a lineup with Lawson as the point guard and Llull coming off the bench as an explosive 6th man combo guard!

Scola? i know he's not a Euro, but he came from the Euro league.

 

I would not say starting PG is a need for us, I would say someone other than Harden who can seriously initiate offense is a need for us. If that means Llull in a sixth man role, that's fine too.

 

I like Ty n all, but I'll rather roll with Llull n wait for KD next year.. #SaveTheCap

Mirotic was terrible in the playoffs. He was good for about a month+ in the regular season and terrible after. I want the player to peak and produce most in the playoffs not in April and February. The rookie wall is a real thing not a myth. And it doesnt affect only teenagers. In europe you play at MOST three games a week but mostly one a week. Its a huge change.

Reggie Jackson is terrible and what makes you think Morey didn't go for Lawson at the trade deadine? He wasn't traded. For all you know the Nuggets refused to deal him.

 

Same thing was said about Dwight just a few years ago.. but what do I know "shrugs".. if Lawson is the Target I hope we can pull in Danilo Gallinari with him. We could really use some more shooting..

 

I like Gallinari, but injuries have taken their toll on him. He used to be able to attack the rim fearlessly, but he now settles for jumpers. Hope he can regain his form. He and Lawson make about $24M combined, so matching salaries would be impossible.
