Roy was just beginning to find himself in the minors at LMJ's age.

 

The guy was still bringin it, don't get hung up on stats as alot of some guys like to do.

 

so the Astros drafted McCullers instead of Appel at number one.

It does not, but the stuff is really there. If he is able to have low walk totals, he can go deep into games, and be really really good for us.

In all seriousness he was in pre-draft discussions on multiple sites as going #1 overall. His signability made him fall.

McCullers and Correa in the same draft man that was amazing.

I honestly don't remember him at all.

 

So much young talent in the system: (H) Correa, Tucker, Fisher, AJ Reed (P) McCullers, Velasquez, Feliz, Appel, Musgrove, Mengden. Makes you wonder who they might risk in a trade? Can't remember the last time the farm system was so deep.
