I wonder what wolves fans want to do? Do they want to trade or keep him?

Rubio's FTR is largely due to the fact he plays a lot of minutes handling the ball without taking many shots.

It is a fallacy to assume that Rubio's shooting would go up in Houston. He played for a considerable amount of time with Kevin Love, and Pek/ Dieng are good scorers too. The addition of KT or JO with the 1st pick isn't likely to change things either. Also, Rubio needs the ball all the time, Harden needs to have someone who can share playmaking, and shooting with him.

It is more largely due to the fact that Rubio is so smart. He knows the most efficient basketball play. He gets the opponent in the bonus and then he draws a lot of fouls in relation to his field goal attempts, gets to the line, and CLOSES!

Rubio could make this team elite status if you could get a fully healthy locked in Rubio plus great shooters around him.Personally I just think Rubio never had the right guidance or was given the confidence to run an offense and attempt to score on Minnesota teams. Rubio could be a Lin, or be a early Jason Kidd.

I think a player coach like McHale would be great for Rubio and he will fit the teams culture.

If we had shooters like (Anthony Morrow,Kyle Korver,Troy Daniels?) or maybe even a big who can shoot the 3 ball at a better clip then what we have currently.(Ryan Anderson,Channing Frye) This team would be so deadly once we and a Rubio who can run a offense freely.

Rubio would be awful on this team. We absolutely need a PG that can shoot

With the cap set to increase that could be a curry sized steal of a contract in 2 years

Rubio Closes? His TS% in clutch situations is 46.7%, which is the same as his overall terrible shooting.

Seriously, WTF? You think Rubio at 14 million will compare to an MVP at 11 million? The cap's not going to infinity.

Basketballholic is either related to Rubio or gets a portion of his check because his claims get more and more outlandish. Rubio is a closer now?:rolleyes::rolleyes:

I saw Rubio out with Chase Budinger at Pub Fiction the night before the rockets game. It was just them 2 and some girls.

If he's hanging out with Budinger, then he had the worst influence and not much work ethic. Budinger probably went out more than anyone, which probably explains why he never really got better.

What's with the Rubio talk. Is it actually a cyberx rumor or just basketballholic creating Rubio scenarios off the top of his head.

So closers are just guys that shoot the ball?

    You don't understand Rubio's game.

Shooting/scoring (TS measures scoring not shooting btw...) is an important skill to being a closer, not the only one, but the most important skill.

This. Jopat even admits that he doesn't think a deal gets done yet but makes lengthy posts about it. Let it go.
