    I agree

The "judgement" call comes when a player normally catches it, and loses control on the transition from the glove to the throw to try and turn a DP... I guess THAT is the play that you cannot challenge.

Wow that wasn't even close. How much longer are we going to tolerate Pettis?

How many outs can we make at home that aren't even remotely close.

I'm thinking Pettis watched one random night of games 2 weeks ago where there were a number of bad OF throws (and thus this was highlighted on the MLB.TV highlight show)... either that or the nerd cave basically gave him the order that analytics say most rushed throws to the plate are inaccurate.

Because some of these sends are basically inexcusable...

The Astros seem to be very slow running from third to home. Maybe it's the field.

Its become more than just a coincidence at this point... this coaching staff has to have had some sort of "strategy" meeting in order to make this a point of emphasis.

Its obviously backfired as a strategy.

The third base coach is awful. Gotta know your personnel. Good hitter coming up in Tucker and Marwin is not fast enough to score on that anyway.

Delmon Young has one of the best outfield arms in baseball.

Marwin is slow... but he was VERY slow on that play, and combined with a sharply hit ball and a good throw, it wasn't even close.
