I think dragon fire will also kill the white walkers considering dragon glass and valyrian steel are made from dragon fire.

I thought the Hardhome battle scenes went on a bit long. I knew when I saw it that there'd be people in this thread going gaga over it. But big montages of random people stabbing other random people (and you're not even sure which are the humans and which the undead) aren't my thing. If they just need some shots of fighting to paint the picture that there's a batle going on while Jon is doing his bit with the White Walker, that's fine but you don't need quite so many of them. Is it Tyrion elevating Dany's scenes, or Dany in a guest appearance on Tyrion's scenes?

Okay so it wasn't actually poison, more roofy loopy stuff. But even then that is a strong assumption that he is going to get hurt by a boar and Selmy wouldn't be able to protect him. Plus if it was roofy type stuff you would just pass out and wouldn't even be able to hunt.
Dragonglass isn't really made from dragon fire. It's made from volcanic rock, just like real world obsidian.
The point wasn't just to give Jon some background. The army of the dead was overwhelming the Wildlings. It wasn't a battle, it was a massacre. The real kick in the gut? That wasn't even the full army. As the White Walker showed at the last moment when he just sent thousands more dead over the cliff when they finally started to run away. This battle was supposed to give context to the idea that the White Walkers and the army of the dead are a total mismatch for Jon Snow's band of merry men. That harrowing struggle to survive we just saw with thousands of wildlings getting killed was against a small fraction of the dead with only one White Walker even getting involved. The sense of dread and potentially hopelessness should have been strong with everyone, but then, the glimmer of hope when Jon Snow killed a White Walker with his sword. And then more dread when the White Walker raised everyone who had just died to replenish his ranks with thousands more warriors. NOW we have context behind the idea that the White Walkers are a threat to all of humanity. Honestly Tyrion needs some elevating himself. I know he's everyone's favorite, but I have grown tired of him being the white hat in the show. Can't sleep with prostitutes anymore, out to save the world, etc. etc. etc. He's the only good guy besides Jon Snow lol.
Interesting they haven't shown any scenes involving Bran Stark and "The Children" this season. I'm so curious to see how all these side stories are gonna tie in at the end.
What's the difference between creating a CGI white walker and the regulars. If you die you become a regular I'm assuming, but if you're taken as a baby and converted you become one of the CGI versions that are vulnerable adamantium and vibranium? Also, y'all nerds keep referring to Meryn Trant. Who is that? I cant remember obscure names.
