There is so much in here and enough that makes me go, 'Wait, what?' But I'll just start with the Cavs who will have three max players next season with TT. Love would be another, if he were to stay and/or re-up. They will be challenging the next TV deal, the one with Netflix and/or Verizon, to have any cap room. For the Rox, or anyone else to compete, not everyone can receive max $$$s. Superstars drive this league but Shump has been disproportionately valuable to the Cavs as has Delly. And Mozgov. Last on Love and the Cavs. When TT gets his max, or near max, and Andy is back (for however many games his body allows), and Moz needs to get paid ('16-'17), how does Blatt (or LBJ's handpicked successor) allot minutes?

McHale wont be gone, and in 3 years or so many of the same supporters will wonder what could have been.
Seriously, when Ron Adams was forced out of Chicago, how in the hell did the Rockets not jump on him to be their Defensive coach? Look what he is doing with the Warriors. Not to mention Adams has a great relationship with Harden. Might have helped elevate Harden's game defensively. Really missed opportunity there!
There was a whole lot more going on with Adelman than Finch. At best Finch was the straw that broke the camels back. Adelman gets a free pass on these boards and that's fine but the Finch issue didn't happen in a bubble.... It was literally the 100th time there was a problem or lack of communication between the coach and the rest of the organization. I have heard some of what was going on and it seemed to be mostly Adelman's issue.... But regardless, Finch wasn't the real reason Adelman left.
McHale could still lead us to the promised land but we need more offensive structure and that needs to come from a stronger "coordinator" presence. I thought that was supposed to be Finch but I can't tell. We really got exposed in that regard in the playoff. We need someone better to mesh H and H. Plenty of coaches I would rather have than McHale. But he proved a good bit in the playoffs.
The rockets need to capatailize over the next 3 years on hardens first deal he's only owed I believe like 46-50mil over 3 years. That's dirt cheap for a top 5 player who hasn't hit his physical peak yet. We got Dwight and harden on board for a combined 37mil I find it real hard that Morey can't figure a way to add another max player this offseason. Marc gasol would be my first choice he's a very underrated defender great passer, something we really need out of the post and can shoot from mid range. IMO he's the best player on the market this year and I'm a big fan of LMA. I know it's hard to see at the moment but we're not very far away from a championship as some may think. I'd say had bev and dmo been healthy we have a 40% chance at the series, still not the favorite IMO put more than a punchers chance. Now add a Marc gasol or LMA and I think we are favored to come out that series. What people needs to realize is harden is asked to do more scoring for out team than curry is asked to shoot 3s. Curry had multiple games this postseason were he scored under 20 Points. If harden doesn't get 28+ we ain't winning and we all no this. If we had a realiable 20 ppg scorer next to him a) it would make his scoring much easier because I do belive harden can play off ball and b) give him a breather in the event that his shooting is off and he can only get us 15-20 points on a certain night. Look at Lebron and wades efficiency this season compared to the least 3 in Miami? It's night and day. The same would be said for harden and whoever star we teamed him up with. Dwight's a star but in a differnt way and he can't be counted on to produce in the post unless we no their will be absolutely no doubles or even week side help his way. This is why he looked so good against Portland and so bad against GSW. The rockets were unbeatable this postseason when smith played like a allstar we just need that consistent and he will never be able to do that for us. If we retain bev draft a ballhandler and sign Marc gasol or LMA this team IMO will be the favorite to win it all.

It looks like LMA is plan A, and we would try to trade up in the draft if we have a real shot at him. I really think LMA's agent has told Morey that he wants to come here and using LA and other teams with space as leverage. LMA must know what his ideal destination is. Someone said recently that he wants to be closer to home. I think only SA has a real chance to beat us out.
