Not gonna lie, real life results mimic my video game results, or vice versa. I was shut out by this dude (starting pitcher). Couldn't get anything going; located pitches well and changed speeds well. Sorry, yall.
This is bad posting and I hope you all grasp the concept of WAR better than this guy. Villar is a replacement player, thats what the stat says. Positive does not make him an all star lmfao.
Villars playing time lately feels like a precursory strategy to make room for Correa/Lowrie. If he plays bad, then he is down or out. If he plays well, we trade him.
Three doubles and one triple and zero runs. I guess this type of game is just gonna happen sometimes.
For someone who understands advanced stats, you don't understand that positive WAR is necessarily good.
Also Marisnick had a good game, that is important for us. Also Carter continues to hit, important. Now, we need to improve in our on base running, plus, we need another starter for Hernandez, he is just bad.
Villar has the talent, but makes way too many errors (physical and mental) to have there in games that counts. Maybe we can trade him to a team that can develop him, because the talent is there.
In their last 6 games, the Astros have had 4 games in which they've recorded 10 or more hits. They've lost all 4. They've won the 2 games where they had less than 10 hits.
