8 teams from the state of Texas are represented in the tournament, including 4 teams from the Houston area (UH, Rice, TSU, & HBU). Check out the brackets: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2015_NCAA_Division_I_Baseball_Tournament There are some great, interesting matchups. Lots of possible rivalries between the teams' fanbases battling for bragging rights. This is going to be exciting.
WTH, does every team in the nation make this "tournament"? How do they even determine who goes there? HBU? I can see TSU in there... they were tearing it up... but... meh...
I have no idea why, but I have picked and want Dallas Baptist to make the CWS. Other than that, I watch but don't care.
Coogs come from behind to beat HBU and what a collapse/meltdown/chokejob on the Rice Owls. There goes the crosstown matchup between UH and Rice.
Very sure a lot of baseball fans in Houston are watching both the Cougars and the Astros games on their TVs, computers, or mobile apps at the same time. It's not easy but it's still fun and enjoyable.
They eliminated the UT Longhorns from the tournament today. Meanwhile, TX A&M Aggies need to beat Cal Golden Bears twice to advance to the Super Regionals (Sweet 16).
