Fans gathering to greet the Rockets at Hobby Airport at 3:30pm

what a terrific thing to do...for our boys...Kudos to those that planned this. I am sure that the players were touched by this...

 

Thanks to the people who went - one should not underestimate the emotional impact of gestures like that.

 

Nice gesture but uhhh, could those people be slobbering any more on Dwight's nuts?

Dwight and Howard seems to be in a bad mood. Ariza, Brewer, Clint, Smith was cool. D-Mo didn't leave til everyone had an autograph and pic. D-Mo said he is recovering from surgery well and should be 100% by August.

 

Maybe Dwight and Harden got into a heated exchange on the plane? fisticuffs?

Awesome job to those that went!

Last time I saw Dwight at an autograph signing he was super pissed to be there, but they also just came off of back to back losses to the Grizzlies. Don't get the impression he's anything but friendly most of the time.

Harden is a hard guy to read and that's why I think so many people think he looks apathetic on the court. That's how he looks. Harden sat and took questions like a man last night, much better then last years playoffs. Dude is going to be even better next year.

 

I thought harden was pretty cool he spent a lot of time with us making sure everyone got a selfie and seemed more chill. Dwight looked disappointed and surprisingly wasn't smiling like his usual self. Ariza, brewer, moti and nick Johnson were eating up the fan love and definitely having a blast. Great event, thanks clutchfans for giving the heads up about the event. Love this rockets community

Either Harden & Howard had it out on the plane or both of them are still upset about the loss that they just can't get themselves to be upbeat even with fans greeting them. I can understand that, you tend to block things out when your really upset. At least he toughed it out and still signed autographs for people. I would guess if Howard was smiling and joking people would criticize him for not caring that they just lost.
