What are you talking about? You don't think experiences in general can help one develop mental toughness? That's literally how you get mental toughness.

Lebron said it himself a cpl games back, that a few years ago he wouldn't have forced himself through that 0-10 shooting, but that it's something that comes with experience

    Don't bother with him.

He's just a Kobe stan that comes here to slurp on Kobe and hate on anyone who's ever wronged Kobe.

U guys said anything too easy, Harden is a player, u should consider defense on him, he has done too many things for the team.
u guys should learn to accept losing. The GS is a better team, their win is acceptable

Truth!! Stop the crying... GS was good. Props to them. Roxs had a good season . Hopefully they learn from it and build on it. Weakness always come out in the playoffs. Time for Morey to work on it.

    HELP WANTED!!
-A PG that is threat offensively, shoot 3's, defend and be a playmaker.
    - Pure Shooters from deep
    - Power forward that can post up, rebound and hit the 3pt shot

No he was praising the team for winning 4 elimination gamed including Harden's 40+ point performance. I just think it is you guys who are looking to take shots at Harden not Howard.

Really? Because Michael Jordan himself said that when he was younger (Harden's age ironically) he was not mentally tough enough because of age and lack of experience and the experience with the Pistons toughened him up. To say mental rarely has to do with age is ridiculous.

Read this article (and this goes for the other people in this thread making idiotic comments about Harden). Jordan talks of lacking mental toughness and being to young and not getting that mental toughness until they went through the trail by fire particularly the playoffs and the "Bad Boys" Detroit Pistons.

Also I noticed that someone made the comment that Harden should be traded because he isn't tough after all he sat on the bench during the Clippers game. I guess they forgot Harden's effort in Game 7. And I guess they forgot or are to you g to remember the 1992 Finals when the Bulls were getting pounder at home by Portland and Phil Jackson sat Jordan and let Pippen lead a comeback win against the Blazers with nothing but bench players. I believe it was Game 6. Same thing happened in the 1991 Finals in LA. What people look at as a reason to attack Harden I look at it as a great sign of how deep and tough this team is. I also find it funny that people are raving about Curry a year or two after believing he wasn't capable of leading a team to a championship series. Fans are quick to turn on and give up players instead of letting them grow and mature.

What about Brewer and Prignoni? Why single this kid out constantly even when he plays well.

Good luck with that wish list Bro!

We may be able to address one of those issues this off-season.

IMO a true play maker at the PG position should be Morey's top priority!

Can't remain a top team out West next season without one.

Having injuries/Missing free throws has nothing to do with not trying in a elimination. What Harden did last nite wasn't even basketball. That was something else. He looked like he was playing for GS. Dwight is right

Reading too much into it. We go to the finals being 3-1 down, Harden had 45 in game 4. We didn't get to the finals but unlike the Warriors we overcame tremendous adversity. Start the season down Jones, then Howard, Dmo flourishes, we get Howard and Jones back, Dmo then goes down. Beverly goes down in a playoff series where we took on Paul and Curry.

Harden wasn't on the floor during the game 5 comeback, but was big in game 6 and 7.

We lost this series in game 3 and that was an all round bad team performance.

Jones was up and down, as well as Smith so we had no Dmo to plug in there.

You guys are reading your own biases into the comment.

This season is something to build on. Last year we exit in game 6, on a wide open 3 on the buzzer to go home/ this year we close the game back, get to the Conference Finals. The roster when the season started was a first round exit team. Now we are 1 step away from the Finals. Golden State had a dream run, while we were crippled, they won't beat the Cavs, no way.

This team didn't have a pre-season together, just keep that in mind. We added guys mid-season.

The team needs to just focus on a few keys things, mainly discipline with and without the ball. Take better shots more consistently, add some more structure to the offense, make smarter passes, defensive rotations.

I just wish everyone would give credit to GS and D12 stick to his improvement opportunities. A true leader owns his mistakes first and then talks about what the team can do better.

We win games 1 and 2 if D12 hits his free throws, but James never ever ever mentions free throws as a reason they lost! Him and his boy JSmooth. We lost 2 WCF playoff games by combined 5 points.

How is having any type of surgery a vacation. You know darn well if he was healthy he would've played the entire season.

He was right period. And there is nothing wrong with calling guys out.

Dwight was the only one who consistenly gave fight the entire playoffs. Everyone else at one point or another, gave up. Harden is probably one of the ones to single out. When we're rolling he's in it. Once a run is made and he misses 2-3 shots straight, he shuts down.

Can't happen in the future and its why he doesn't deserve MVP.

Without Harden it's questionable whether the Rockets even make the playoffs. Without Harden they probably don't win the Dallas series, and certainly wouldn't have won the Clippers series.

Harden played an awful game last night. There is no doubt about it. There have been about 2 other games these playoffs where Harden was totally off.

Most games he was either very good and on a few games he was god-like. But the respect the other teams have for him, and they way they have to gear their game to compete with him helps every other player on the Rockets. If teams could take a whole series to focus on how to beat the Rockets without Harden it wouldn't be that tough for the other teams to knock us out. Because Harden is such a dangerous weapon he helps the whole team.

Last year Harden a very sub-standard playoffs and it helped him grow as a player. I don't doubt that his few crappy games during these playoffs will him grow even more. The experience was valuable for this team. Harden is only 25 and is a great choice to be the guy Houston builds it's team around despite the awful game he played against the Warriors.

    Here's Dwight's quote after last night's game:

Now that it’s done, Howard is looking ahead to next year. He is hopeful the Rockets can stay together. They found something special this year and he has faith that his dreams of winning a championship with the Rockets aren’t over.

I am all about wanting to play with guys who want to go out there and fight,” Howard said. “We just want to win.

It wasn’t our team. We gave it everything we got and we fought till the end. I think our city is very proud of the fight we gave every night.”

So, he thinks that the Rockets can win a championship, he's all about wanting to play with guys that go out and fight and he wants to keep the team together.

Doesn't sound like he's unhappy at anything other than losing the series. We lost to a better team, one that's having a historic season. There's no shame in that.
