Vegas trolling again, giving over 2:1 on a LeBron led team??? Wot??? I don't think they could beg any harder for Cleveland bets...

    GSW -260
    CLE +210

Kwame - I think you have a good opportunity here to hedge your GSW title bet... surprised they actually left it above 2:1.

Yeah I see this as a bad match up for GSW and I think the Cavs win in 5 or 6. Lebron is simply on another level compared to Curry. It might end up being like Dream versus Robinson. People have almost forgot about Lebron and ESPN won't stop sucking Curry's dick.

I think money is already coming in on cavs at westgate (lvh) super book. I might wait to see if cavs lose game 1 and then take them or better yet take cavs ats each game and hope gsw win but cavs cover so I can hit both. I really just want to let it ride, because it's pretty obvious who vegas thinks is going to win.

Edit: If somebody like robbie is picking the cavs then the warriors are almost guaranteed to win the title, lol.

This type of narrative is exactly what Vegas is counting on.

Yeah, I'm thinking the oddsmakers are salivating at the opportunity to bury the public by enticing them with greater than 2:1 odds on a lbj led team. The average person probably can't believe that they would be getting these kinds of odds on Cleveland at this point in the season and will blindly bet on cavs, which is what books are most likely anticipating and looking forward to.

True. Like you said before, you are already free-rolling bc of your GSW WC champ bet.

Here's the ticket and I have another on GSW to win it all, which I will probably let ride without hedging. Also, for those interested, please look at the date this bet was made before you accuse me of betting against the Rockets or not being a fan:

That twitter is from the Incarcerated Bob Network (IBN) so take it for what it's worth, which isn't much. But, as much as I like money Mayweather as a boxer (bet $200 on him against Pac-Man even though I don't know anything about boxing), if he's on the Cavs, then I feel even better about my bet on GSW, lol.

Mayweather only posts pics of his winning tickets. He's a joke and I'm sure the sports books love it when they take his bets. You'll see no proof of that bet if it loses.

Hope you guys have been reading and made some money, though I doubt it. All good. Vegas is daring you even HARDER next game by raising the line to -6.5 Dare you to bet on CLE again.

I'm on GS for the series, but this game was one of those underdog should have covered and under should have hit, but both got whored by the overtime. 6.5 with a hobbled Kyrie is just bad. Have to wait for more info on that before any series betting.

Yeah, you're right. I may have been a little buzzed when I posted. 6.5 does seem low if no Kyrie, but it's up to 7.5 now. Wouldn't be surprised if it settles at 8, but I'm sure they don't want to give a big middle. However, according to covers the public is still all over CLE's nutz. (see what I did there ;))

What does that number mean? Let's say I put $100 on CLE and that number. Does that mean CLE has to lose by 7.5 points or more for me to win money?

(Disclaimer: I'm a betting noob. I never do it, so I just want some clarification.)

No worries. It means that if you bet on CLE +7.5, CLE has to lose by a margin of 7.5 or less... or win.

Well, with Kyrie out now, place your money on Golden State....

Line still holding steady at 7.5/8 even though the public is still on Cleveland. I actually think CLE has some value this game, but will wait to see what the line does tomorrow.

    Food for thought:

Since 2012, road favorites trailing in a playoff series 2-1 have fared extremely well, winning eight of nine times, including a 3-0 mark this postseason.

Not sure why GS is favored again... I guess there is something to it based on what el gnome posted above, but I wouldn't bet on GS just because "they have to win this one." Teams 'have' to win every game in the finals, and it's not like motivation will be lacking for either team. However, I expect CLE to be the more banged up, sore, bruised, and tired team compared to GS. Though I also wouldn't underestimate GS's falling confidence...

I doubt I will take ML or ATS for this game due to the unpredictability, may try to live bet it though. One thing I will be taking though is Lebron James over 35.5 points. I took it last game, and will take it for every remaining game in this series. He may not hit it every time, but you gotta think Lebron will hit that point total more times then not this series with the load he is carrying.
