So dissapointed right now. I will feel better tomorrow because it was a season far and above expectations..but I still feel like this game was within reach.

The spread was 10.5 points. Harden throws the ball away and then fouls curry, down 11. Ok no big deal frustration foul maybe? Next possession go's between the legs with no pressure and loses the ball out of bounds and then proceeds to back curry, the refs don't even want to call the foul but harden forces the refs hand by pushing curry while shooting a 3. Rockets lose by 14 spread covered. Watch the game again with an open mind the turnovers, no defensive intensity or effort at all. I hope the money was worth it Harden because it was obvious that you were paid off.

Spot on Codman. I agree on every word you said about MilkHair and some of the players you mentioned. We will lose time if we dont get him replaced this offseason. The team will lose valuable time

How about acknowledging this- without Harden, this ****ing team isnt' even in the ****ing western conference ****ing finals? How about instead of being a heat-of-the-moment jackass, you acknowledge that, although he had 2 bad games, without him, we're not even in a position to be in a game 5???

And my ****ing points still stand- those players all had very bad games and series- including elimination ones- I'll be glad to do some more research on it.

Sheridan the hack said that some coach will get fired in the next few days that noone expects..so not Thibs. Just probably lies.

I think "heat of the moment jackass" is a title more applicable to someone who drops 4 f bombs in a single post...

And if you go back and read my posts, you'll see very plainly that I give James his credit for getting us to where we are. However, that doesn't excuse the epic pants pooping we just witnessed.

I'm very well aware of this

That doesn't mean he will coach it all out. Thanks for your sarcasm.

Any basketball fan knows that we're missing the intelligence on the bench. JB is the guy who calls the shots, along with Finch.

Kevin is the recognizable name that gave people hope BECAUSE he was an all-tie great player.

That doesn't mean his coaching carried over. It hasn't.

You can thank Josh Smith/Dwight/Trevor/Corey for Game 6. McHale stood there watching and praying.
Most of us want a coach that relies on adjustments over hope.

I am admittedly not a fan of McHale, nor will I ever respect him. I respect our players that FOUGHT hard despite his infinite errors.

Our team is ran by the players. Kevin is the homie. It's known. He's not Doc/Pop/Thibs etc.

He the loudest man in the huddle with the least to say.

Go to his Minnesota reports. HE was clueless back then, too.

I wish him the best in his personal life, but the Rockets players deserve a better mind. Even a douche like Doug Collins understands the game at a higher level.

If I had my choice, I wish we could sneak Carlisle here. IMO, he is the most underrated coach in the league.

Made the most of an aging, angry team. He's won everywhere.

Kevin has won because of 2 budding superstars. Period.

We can agree to disagree but I have no respect for Kevin as a coach. As a person, I've met him and he is a nice man.

But, he is not qualified to run a team with James Freakin Harden and Dwight Howard. He doesn't have the tools yet, and we don't have the window for any more error. Dwight is aging.

James isn't going to continue losing like this. He wants to win, regardless of these turnovers. Kevin could have easily had a different PG so James could set up.

Instead, he allowed the players to dictate the game, and stood wit his hand crossed, without a tangible plan.

Clapping and "play harder" isn't cutting it.

Okay, I'm done. I know you're tired of hearing it.

But, like you, I'm a diehard fan, a coach, and I know our guys deserve a coach that coaches as hard as they play. Consider what that means before you react. Coaching as hard as your players play. We don't have that.

That inequality has killed us year after year.

    Peace and Love...

Good things come to those that wait, with or without a mediocre coach.

Miss ya Rudy, RA, JVG, Sampson, Fitch.

Managed to sneak a few glimpses at the game from my desk at work (in NZ) - good game rockets. You just ran into a much much much better team. You did well considering.

We fought to the bitter end. Top 3 :D Harden did have a very suspect game but willngibe him as pass because we would not have made it this far without him. Looking forward to healthy Dmo coming back next season and new acquisitions. We are in for a hell of a summer. The future is bright. Please get rid of Tjones.

    probably sheridan.. don't believe anythig.
Mchale is the perfect coach slash puppet that Morrey needs. Good luck finding a "good" coach that will have to put up with a constant roster turnover, and the analytics department and the GM intervening so much with his decisions,

    Hey Codman, what movement?

With rumor that Thibs is out and JVG might have interest in NO any way you see either of those guys back in town as the coach?

Well, ****ing excuse me, I didn't know we were on a children's site. OK, so he ****ed up. Well, ****ing there you go. He ****ed up, and he needs to ****ing own up to it. But I'm not ****ing jumping ship on the ****ing guy, either- we went way ****ing further than I imagined we would, and the ****ing Clippers series alone was ****ing worth it. Now, you want to ****ing complain about what a ****ed-up player James Harden, ****ing go for it. Not me- **** that. It's ****ing done with, we had a great ****ing season, and I'll be ****ing damned if I'm going to say trade James ****ing Harden for someone else. I'll give him another ****ing year or two, and he's still making colossal ****-ups in the playoff, then I'll say, ****ing a, let's ship his ****ing ass out and get a true ******* ****ing franchise player already. But not ****ing right now. Too ****ing early for that ****ing crap.

In other words, James Harden needs to redeem himself for the disastrous game he displayed tonight. A player of his caliber should be mortified that his season ended on such a ghastly note. I will refrain from commenting any further and apologize for the vulgarity of my commentary. I tend to become a bit overexuberant with my rhetoric.

(BTW, Donny, no hard feelings- and sorry about the jackass comment- love your posts in the D&D- just a heat-of-the-moment comment. Sincere apologies- you have every right to be .... ****ing.... angry).

Don't forget the Sonics choking in the first round 2 straight years before finally maturing and getting all the way to the Finals. And even that they nearly screwed up by almost blowing a 3-1 lead to Utah in the WCF. Of course, they picked the absolute worst possible season to win 64 games and advance to the Finals given who was waiting for them.
