I'm just wondering about Clutchfan posters' feelings towards this media coverage about Curry's injury in Game 4 vs Howard's injury in Game 1. As we as Houston fans have cynically expected, the media is all over this Curry injury and reports coming left right and center about him having to wear a shooting sleeve for Game 5. Should he not play well, I can only assume the media and commentators will point to the injury. Let's consider that Howard was injured 4 games ago now, so we all know how the media coverage panned out post-injury. There was mention he was injured, but a lot of game 2 was about how bad Howard played with his high TO's, not acknowledging that this only started after his injury. Also there was no mention of this injury and how well Howard could play through it in game 2. Is it right for the media to be treating Curry's injury as worse considering how he landed? His injury "looked" worse than Howard's on camera. BUT, a knee injury clearly affects a big man's game more than a head injury does for a shooter. Curry's arm is sore though and has to wear a sleeve, so this will be woven into the narrative.
