Leggo, Rockets!

 

The Rockets don't have to win three games tonight. They just have to win one. If they win, the entire complexion of the series changes. Imagine the excitement for a home game Friday night.

 

I feel good about tonight for some reason!

 

Games like game 3 are very easy on the heart. No stress.

 

Yup, all of the sudden we only have to win 2 and they have to win 1. The choke hold keeps getting tight around their necks with every win.

well, amongst those that were down 0-3, plenty of them have forced game 5,6 or even 7. have some confidence. gsw is very very good, but sure isnt invincible.

When you love something, watching it roll over and die isn't easy on the heart.

 

When we win tonight it'll be despite the calls, not because of them. I suppose it's too much to hope for just an even handed and competent job from this crew. Who assigns these people? This is ridiculous.

Actually, most teams down 0-3 have been swept. Very few have even forced a Game 6. I think the total out of 116 teams is only 10. And only 3 have forced a Game 7.

So if the Rockets did win tonight, they'd already be in a very small group(which includes this season's Bucks BTW) without even having to force a Game 7.

 

Oh wow the deadly combo of brothers and mauer. It's gonna be a long night

 

Funny thing is when Dallas fans were talking like we are talking now after winning game 4, I was thinking how delusional they were lol, Warriors fans probably thinking the same about us. Anyway, you have to play the game to find out so let's see.

 

you know, I was thinking the same thing. Just about how delusional these fans are of the mavericks, however, I don't think the two situations are similar - other than the record for series

 

Rox forced a Game 6 against OKC after being down 0-3. Although, that series did feature the Bev-Westbrook incident.

That Dallas team hadn't just come back from being down 3-1 for the 9th time in NBA history and wasn't 4-0 in elimination games

 

I could see Dallas fans getting a little cocky because of the way the Mavs killed the Rockets in Game 4 and Barea of all people lit them up.

But the Rockets actually do have some things to be optimistic about, certainly more than the Mavs did heading into their Game 5. First, they played the Warriors very close at Oracle in Games 1 and 2. Second, they've been terrific in elimination games. And third, they're pinning their hopes on James Harden, not JJ Barea.

 

Its your time to make history Mr. Harden.. An it starts tonight! One game at a time!

 

I don't know. I believe we CAN win tonight. But, honestly, what did you see that was fundamentally different in our game in Game 4 that you can grab on to and say. THIS CHANGE did it for us. We shot 50 plus percent from the 3 point line. Hard to lose like that. But we can't expect that. Will we get those points from the free throw line? Err.. no. NOW, has Golden State played flat in any game? No. Maybe they are due. One has to think at some point they will have a poor shooting night collectively. ITS TIME for that.
