I believe DM will give the priority to grab the third star he has been dreaming of; such as LMA or a star PG. The remaining will be best fillers available in the market or re sign our own players. He won't grab border line star such as Kris or Greens unless he knows nobody else is available.

I doubt if he will leave the Spurs, but he is a UFA. So is DeMarre Carroll, and Milsap too. Atlanta might be forced to let Carroll go, if they commit to Milsap.

Kosta Koufos wants to start, but he could get minutes in Houston too, if management feels that Capela needs more time to grow. Will Dorsey be moved again back to Toronto?

LMA, Love, seriously do we still not know who Daryl Morey is right now? The Rockets can win the championship and I bet you if LMA/Love shows interest, he'll make a run. He is Daryl Morey. I would also mention the centers if we don't already have Dwight.

Danny Green may be too overpriced for the Spurs.
    My projections are :
    Danny Green at 10 per
    Caroll at 9-10 per
Millsap ...he will get paid. Not sure how much but more than 15 per.
    Koufos around 8 per
    Rolo around 10 per
The league landscape has changed and the contracts handed out this offseason will make you .

What about Calathes and Corey Joseph?

Have a love hate with Josh and it's based on if his shot is going in. Without him hitting the 3's he's a liability on the court. If I coached against him, I would put him on the line immediately to kill any confidence. I would do the same with D12. Then they start to play tentative on the offensive end to avoid going to the free throw line.

I would love LMA instead of Josh, Tjones, and/or Dmo. I would trade all 3 to Portland just to land LMA.

We don't need a third superstar.

We have superstar A and superstar B.

Now we need the complementary role players which are essential for championship teams.

You throw the kitchen sink at Danny Green. He is EXACTLY what this Rockets team needs.

Call me crazy but if I was guaranteed LMA/Love or Green + another very serviceable rotation player I'd be taking the two every time for this currently constructed Rockets team.

One decent 3 point specialist makes us infinitely better.

Speaking of LMA....I didn't know if I should make a new thread about this, or post this in the switching defence thread...please take five minutes to read this
    http://grantland.com/the-triangle/w...he-nba-post-up-game-to-bring-you-its-rebirth/

It gives insight not only in how defence affects the Rockets -GSW series but what is the new kind of power forwards we may see GMs looking for in the future.
    Daryl Morrey is quoted saying
LMA may not be such a one dimensional strech 4 as others but he has made abudantly clear that he doesn't want to go in the post.
I think there will be a change in the league slowly in the next years with a gradual return of the post game..at all positions.

    GSW- Rockets

I don't even think the Spurs can afford Danny Green, much less the Rockets. He'll get 8 figures easily from someone. The Rockets don't have that kind of cap space.

To add to my previous post, we all want a good pg and the most available seems to be Lawson.
But where will we hide him? Most players , esp GSW will be able to take him down to the post and score on him like they do with Terry.

He appears to be DestinyDallas. Or SacTown. BTW - - you believe his style fits this roster?

How would Lawson wind up in Dallas? They have no tradeable assets.

I believe with Lawson in the roster the Rockets will threaten next year the warriors to be the number 1 seed in the regular season. The Rocket's offence will be the no.1 in the league and all the roleplayers will look a lot better. They will be passed the ball in rhythm and raise their 3point percentage. Dwight also will have a very good season. Harden won't be affected by Lawson having the ball in his hands because both he and Lawson can play off ball.
However the defence will suffer and it will be in the playoffs where the Rockets will be in trouble when other teams will have gameplanned for them extensively and be able to take advantage of Ty's and Harden's bad defence.
    That's my opinion.
He's not perfect for the Rockets.

I agree, Mike Conley fits the bill ... offense and defense.
